This depends on how you define your own pumping. As far as i am concerned, i can only say that a coin has pumped, only if the price has gone up exponentially and has gone higher than the price i bought it. So, if the pump gives me a good result in terms of price, i would sell, but if not, i will continue to hold. Most of the coins i invested into are long term, except for some very few that perhaps are after quick profit. I can even decide to hodl for as long as i want.
Each person has a different profit target, so I will hold until I reach my target. Of course, when the market is really uptrend, these altcoins are not really potential I will wait for the good price to sell them. Not all altcoins are good to add value, so always have to make the right choice to take profit.
I think that the retention of their tokens is an important component of all cryptocurrencies. Altcoins do not have high liquidity for this if everyone wants to sell them, it will negatively affect the price, although the user's token will not be less.

I admit that I do sell when things look ugly, the hodling concept is not always good, as nothing is permanent and always valid. You have to know when things change.
In my opinion, now selling their tokens is not a very rational solution. Because now everything is very cheap and the potential for growth is huge. The fact that the fall has been going on for half a year still does not mean that it will be forever!
Earlier, when I registered at the forum, it was possible to say that HOLD made money realistically, because people only needed to do nothing and keep their tokens in their wallet and they were able to sell them later at very high prices. I think that now a lot has changed.

of course not as you say, but it can happen if the altcoin that I have is pumped up monthly. there are plans and strategies that I run to generate profits and benefits for the altcoins that I have. so you must understand first and learn it so that you really understand.
I think that holding coins and tokens is the best way to have profit always at hand, i mean the sources of profit. to my mind, it is better to have btc and ether as they are the first coins in the rating
I hate to hold my tokens, I like to trade more, buy and sell constantly helping me make more profit than holding. I just hold eth and btc. And I do not sell them now because they are so cheap. I will lose if I sell
I will sell when the crypto currency in which I invest will reach my expected price. I do not have any reason to sell cheaper than I invested. You need patience for profit. 
Will do the same for all my coins and token. I always set my target price to sell everytime I invest because I believe in long term playing. I hope to see the market pump again so my holdings will increase also and if its my goal price, will sold it right away. On uncertain condition like this I always sell my token directly when the token goes to exchange

Since I am holding mostly Bitcoins so I am waiting for a drastic change of the market. May be a ETF approval or something big happening which will completely change the tide of the market. Dumping the coins once it is pumped up seems like the most feasible plan for me right now but I am getting concerned and anxious over how long it might take to the coins to get pumped again.
For me, I set my own sales target, after fulfilling I will immediately sell it. And of course it will immediately throw it away. But not entirely I sell it, only partially. Then if the coin still has a good future and its development shows significant.
No, I would never do that. While investing on cryptocurrency market, we must have a definite strategy. You should know your goals. While pump, if I feel that it is the right moment , then I might sell off a portion of my coins.
First of all, I want to hold my coins as long as I don't feel like it is the right time. I have seen at least three different windows of opportunities to sell my coin for a good profit but still I am waiting for the market to revive so that I can get a more profit. Secondly, I don't mind investing more right now since the price is low and planning to dump it once the pump is on full pace.
I haven't invested a huge amount of money on my coins so I don't mind holding them for longer. Though I am a short time small investor but the recent frustration in market is making me hold my coins for longer so that I can sell them once the price supasses my buying price and yes I will definitely dump if I see a pump in price and reinvest the money on other coins.

I'm going to hold until Ethereum will pump. Once it pumps all altcoins associated with it will also blooms. No dumping of coins. If ever then be sure that the coin will still dump for a chance to multiply it. And once it has been pumped then you get lucky for doing the buy and sell (for being active) on market. So don't be sad about it hence take advantage of it.
