Hold is the best strategy! But this strategy takes a lot of time, and you need to be patient not to sell coins when they fall down the course.

Holding is not bullshit. It just depends on what projects you hold in your portfolio. I would suggest to monitor those 3 coins and set a target price.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?
What is espers insane and html? I have never heard about them. First of all, your mistake - hold only 3 coins, instead of 50+. Secondary you need to read news what is growing and jump in, but not just buy something without reason and hold it in hope of growing up.

Because your coins is bullshit too, that is why there are no improvements,HOLDING good altcoins and tokens will give you a lot of profits but holding these shitcoins which doesnt have good working product/services wont give you anything even you waited hundreds of years.
What a harsh thing to say but clearly direct to the point, maybe if you take some diligent DYOR and get some good coins on it maybe you gain big earnings by now for that time you allotted on holding those coins. I guess you've just made some wrong choice of coins to hold, but it is not too late is just an eye opener for you picking up now good coins for holding.

I often read people that suggest to HODL no matter what. But honestly this is something I don't understand. I've seen a lot of times coins that fell down hard from their all time high, but people avoid selling cause they think the price will have to go back to the top. But this is obviously something that nobody can assure you. I've sold my DBC when I was in a 10% loss, if i would have held longer now I would have lost around 50%. That's a lot of money for me. The best decision lies within the project you're investing. If they have no real value, avoid holding it.

Because your coins is bullshit too, that is why there are no improvements,HOLDING good altcoins and tokens will give you a lot of profits but holding these shitcoins which doesnt have good working product/services wont give you anything even you waited hundreds of years.Do a lot of research find new potential coins or projects only invest to good projects, read whitepaper check the team, the current developments and im sure your holdings will give you much better outcome.
Exactly what I think! and I can't say better than this, the coins you hold also becoming an important factor to decide whether you will get or at least making a profit out of holding all these things or not. For example, you can try to hold joke coin with barely any volume for 100 years. it will become like that or near to dust because it will simply delisted from all exchange.
So, better to analyse first about your portfolio before holding and that's the most important thing, don't ever waste time on such stupid coins again.

I think you may be less conscientious with what you will invest I think to hold it good if you have confidence with what you will invest

I am so mad at myself that I didnt cash out more on the top.

I literally made 25.000% ROI in 1 fucking year and I was so greedy and noobish not to cash out a bunch. This is a tough lesson for me to learn.

Thankfully I have never made any losses in cryto and I pulled out my initial investment a long time ago.

Just hold is not the method of earning. It is need to find a good alt to hold. if you hold a right coin, it will return a reword.

Make sure the coin you're holding is worth something. The coins you mentioned are not making any noise so.i dont think they're gonna be worth something someday. Give the coins you have up and buy something that has a good platform. Research the coin before you invest in it. I think thats the key to gaining. Holding really works if you know the coin you're holding.

You can say Holding is a Bullshit if your coins that you hold is Bullshit, no future, low potential and no improvement. Think before you Hold a coin/s, and do a lot of research to find a good and high potential coin/s to hold and invest.

Yup, quality over quantity.

Holding is not a bullshit, it is only a way to stay strong during this unclear market, so i hold all my portfolio and still have a profit, because i made a diversification of my investments.

Maybe you are just unlucky or coincidentally the coin you choose does not moon. As my own group of crypto trader friends hold many different tokens before and after the project went ICO and the tokens are worth many times now although recent months are all red in figure but they are still in profit.

Well holding is very profitable but only if you start holding in the right time. For example if you were holding espers before it’s worthless you wasted your time , it’s whitepaper published 2 days ago , it will start going up from now on. There was no point in holding them for last two years.

On the one hand, holding is bullshit, and on the other hand, holding can give big profits. I concluded that the best option is to sell half of the coins after you got profit, and half to hold. So there is more chances to be in profit.

you should buy coin if its has a potential to increase or it has a good team behind. Don't buy without knowing if its good to hold in long term or not,  'cause buying for long term is not easy you must search a good feedback  first for the sake of your money.  By the ways  I love the thread title . Lol
Exactly!Think twice before you decide!Holding could have both advantage and disadvantage. Be decisive, and look out for for what's the trend. Hold if necessary, but not too much. Check out for the price condition, supply and demand, as well as market condition.
