As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.
Bitcoin investment is risky, its price is not stable, it can crash at any time and cause loss. We cannot predict the future price changes of bitcoin. It's unpredictable. We need to control the amount of money invested in bitcoin to reduce risk.

Every investment is subject to market risk, so, If you only want profit and has no heart to take the loss, just stay away from any kind of investment, please. But if you are ready to take the risks, please speculate your own portfolio and stay away from scammers (stop believing everything you read of hear, use your own brain.)

Every time you hold does not allow you to get a profit there is always a risk people will get. Not always the assets you hold it will rise, it takes time but if you are lucky you can get easily the chances. And if holding too long it is possible for you to lose the opportunity to sell it, it could be the assets you hold down when it has reached a high price.

Not at long term, for sure.
You haven't lost anything if you haven't sold.

I agree with you...holding is risk free and I think its the best strategy if you do not want to try trading, token sales or gambling which imo are on the higher risk when it comes to investments.

Holding you lose nothing from it and I think the long term is the best

Holding a bitcoin come with a risk, a risk worth taking, panick selling is not a right choice for every bitcoiner, a good investors know when to sell and when  to hold.
We already know that cryptocurrecy may take a risk, but we don't know when the bitcoin bubble will burst. One thing to do is accept the risk. Just hold and wait for the right time.

Holding bitcoin is best option when market had turbulance. I think if we understand about technical trading, we can make trade to double our bitcoin, but if we not its much better to hold and make bitcoin as investment

Holding is always risky you will never know what will happen to the coin in the long run, that's why traders usually say to spend your money wherein you are not afraid to lose. It's like signing up for something but you already know the consequences and possibilities that you might fail. Everything is always a risk especially when money is involved.

Risk or not... Everything is a risk on a such new market with full of corporative haters. But the question you should be asking only yourself is "Do I believe in this coin enough that i will keep it?"
My answer is yes, but that is only my opinion. You must make you own.

$15,000 was one of the highest predictions of the price of Bitcoin by the end of 2017. Some predictions are much lesser than that. In fact, mine was only around $10,000 or a little more. But the growth was shockingly higher than the predictions, almost all predictions actually. And this is the reason why the correction was a bit worse than the usual. There were FUDs spread at the same time. All these caused the hard fall of Bitcoin's value. And then the panic sellers also joined the causes of the fall. Anyhow, there is no reason to sell. Hodling will give us more profit than selling early.

Yes some point in holding is a risk the whole investment is a risk. The bitcoin price always depends on the holder of the coin and investors. If there are lots of people who trust in   bitcoin and invest in it then the market price of bitcoin will increase but then if issues arise concerning bitcoin and investors back out in investing in bitcoin then the price will definitely go down. That is why bitcoin price is volatile. Holding your coin for a long time is good if in the near future the bitcoin price increase but it will be a risk if it doesn't increase anymore and goes down futher.

Every investment must be at risk. Moreover, investing in Bitcoin, a lot of risks. The greater the risk the greater the benefits. If I were you I would choose to hold my Bitcoin.

It will always be a risk but it is a small risk. Invest how much you afford to loose just in case it happens. I am not afraid to invest. I think it is a good deal

As prices go up, I believe that you need to lighten your load gradually to preserve your gains and prevent risks in the long run. Don't sell everything at once as price could still climb even further.

Investment is a risk. that's right. but it's even more of a risk to keep all the eggs in one basket. Allocate your capital for investment proportionally, in percentage for example - 50% bitcoin, 20 eth , another 20% in altcoins and 10% to leave just in case. ) this is just advice, disobey or not-to decide you. and in General, I advise you to think only with your head.
 I apologize for the English.

Investing in bitcoin is a risk, because value could collapse tomorrow.

Many experts say that in the summer of 2018, interest rates on the bitcoin market are very high. It's best to hold your bitcoin.

Holding bitcoin is a bit dangerous, but when price gets down you must purchase bitcoin or buy and hold it. There is a risk but when you buy at low price there is high chance to gain for profit. Just hold it. I believe that bitcoin will pump

I am directly replying to your post because based on my experience what i witnessed is that holding is bit dangerous while your having really good profit . Once you find a good profit sell it . I dint do that now regretting while price reached 15K + stable about month i dint sell any now i am waiting by checking everyday coinmarketcap.
