The risk is always in there because Bitcoin price value is really unpredictable but we could lessen the risk if you always monitor for the price in the market, cryoto update and the daily news. In addition, you could prevent the risk if you will just be contented of enough earnings like buying it low and sell it high strategy. Small earnings are better than losing it.

I don’t think so these altcoins have potential of growing much in 2018. It is just not about these altcoins but all other as well, altcoins are not having great market and support in the crypto market. Bitcoin is the best ever crypto currency and we all know no other currency is capable of beating it.

For me Investing, selling or holding are both have a risk specially in cyrpto nothing is permanent. We can never can tell when will the value increases nor decrease. Its up to you if you want to sell some of your btc specially if you really need it badly and still keep or hold some of it and wait for its value to profit again.
