Trying to get my post count up to 5 as well.
yes, its pretty annoying. been trying to be able to post for awhile elsewhere as well. but restricted because of my post count in this forum. nothing interesting to post on here! 
Id agree, just because we are new to the forum doesnt mean we dont know anything.
it is a goodway to stop people spamming topics joining and leaving tho!

When you register and does not listen what the site said, then later need to google what to do, where you can post. You have to find again the thread, where the info hidden.
