I also avoid all synthetic drugs, I try to live as naturally as possible.  Doctors these days are quick to prescribe drugs to every problem just for the sake of money.

You can try non-pharmacological methods such as deep breathing exercises, reading books and watching movies to divert your attention from the pain.

Have you heard of VR therapy for pain management? Virtual reality is currently being used in the labor ward, for burn pain management, cancer pain and other chronic pains. They say even without the use of medication, the technology serves as an effective distraction for the pain.
Here’s an article about it: https://www.forbes.com/sites/reenitadas/2018/05/31/virtual-reality-the-alternative-to-marijuana-and-opioids-for-pain-management/#2be6c7f651d6

the use of painkillers for a long time is not good for health, you can do relaxation or compress with ice water on the part that feels excessive pain

I am one of many who seems to have chronic pain. I refuse to take painkillers because of what they can do to my body.
I am basically stuck using ice and heat. I don't have a bathtub so I don't have the option to use things like Epsom salt.
My pain is in my lower back, shoulders, and neck.

What do you do to handle pain?

Take vitamin C to heal quickly and better to take professional help as soon as possible

I think the best way is to stay exercise, exercise more painful parts is very effective, and should pay attention to diet, reduce the use of foods that cause pain!

Get a good doctor dude
yeah that's the best thing you can do when you are in pain. some pain is better to be consulted rather than intake several kinds od painkillers, because that might only worsen the situation than cure.
