I am one of many who seems to have chronic pain. I refuse to take painkillers because of what they can do to my body.
I am basically stuck using ice and heat. I don't have a bathtub so I don't have the option to use things like Epsom salt.
My pain is in my lower back, shoulders, and neck.

What do you do to handle pain?

I used to experienced a lot of sprain when I was heavily playing basketball everyday. What I do is I chop ginger, dip it in flour and put it on my sprained ankle. It really helped me a lot as it heals earlier than it usually does. Best relief ever!
Chronic pain is different from sprain because both have different durability.

For back pain and any bone related chronic pain, we can try Chiropractic treatment which is effective on most of the cases and relives pain soon after the treatment ends.

All I do when am in pain or hurt is that I listen to soft music relax on my bed or couch then sleep, by the i wake the pain would have reduce if not gone

I think there are a lot of aches that should be advised by a doctor if they do not work well at home We are a lot of people who do not care about pain  it is very large in size at one time. This is why we should go to the doctor so that you can cure the pain a little later and no problem will arise.

Can ya tell why do you have the pain though? Like spondylitis or some sort of that? I used to live a sedentary life and I also used to get such pain in tremendous amount and what worked for me is walking 30 mins a day for a week or so. Try to exercise and handle it slowly. You will surely see the results! I hope you recover from it brother Smiley

I think you should follow the doctor's advice for managing pain. It is not right to take pain medicine, it is great harm to our body If you can see the boy initially with a massage or hot water at home, then it is better to be a doctor.
yeah needs doctors prescriptions because the long you use Pain reliever and the dosage you take is getting High as time passes by.
so better find another option than Pain Killers as we need to use this only in times when we needed it most and not just because when our body aching.

It depends on the nature and intensity of the pain. I've had pain in my lower back that was so severe that I could barely stand up and walk. I sucked it up and suffered for a week before it eventually went away.

Yesterday I had a massive headache, and went to work. Words cannot explain what a horrible experience it was, and it reminded me of this topic. I kept having thoughts like, would I be willing to have this headache for 6 months for 1000 Bitcoins? No way. I also wondered if some people have decided to end it all due to the pain.

What do you do to handle pain?

You can try CBD if it's legal in your country. It doesn't have any psychoactive effects and works like a charm on any ache. Helps with anxiety and overall stress as well
And what is this your CBD?

What do you do to handle pain?

I suffer a lot from the same pains that occur to you, in the lower back, shoulders and neck, But I got rid of those pain by adjusting the level of the computer screen at the level of view, I did exercises continuously to strengthen the muscles that support the spine, and I seated properly while working, I also advise you to go get a massage.

It depends on what type of pain it is. There are many injuries where it is necessary to take pain killers and lessen the feel of killing yourself. If it is something small then what I do is try and keep myself busy in something which I like to do, like gaming or reading a new book.

I personally do not handle some kind of pain with pain killer(especially synthetic pain killer).

I think some pains are our bodies way of telling us something is wrong in our bodies. In my opinion, suppressing the pain without adequately treating the cause can be dangerous
I try to eat more healthy, drink lots of warm water, exercise(doing house chores alternatively), and adopt a healthy lifestyle... If the pain doesn't go away, I'll then use painkiller(still not synthetic). There are lots of natural pain killers around. Maybe Googling will help.

Yoga might help you, thats what I usually do everytime I feel some pain or having uncomfortable feeling.

But its best to consult a doctor to address what causes your pain then follow what should be done like avoiding specific food.

You handle it like a man. But seriously, take something for it. You already don't which shows that you have some will power and will not get addicted. If that's your worry.

Some say pain is weakness leaving the body. Strengthen the painful areas through exercise if possible.
