the most essential thing while putting away bitcoin in online wallet is, abstain from phishing assaults.

normally hoodlums make a phishing site that influences us to will enter a username and secret key to get in and afterward they complete off our wallet. so we must be watchful.

once in a while they likewise assault through email, so you ought to be more exhaustive again and dependably browse

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

I use to work with hardware wallet Trezor. One of the best options for the safe storage of cryptocurrency in my opinion. At the same time online wallet Coinbase is also a good option. Choose those two ways to store wallets.

Before owning any bitcoin, you need somewhere to store them. That place is called a "wallet." Rather than actually holding your bitcoin, it holds the private key that allows you to access your bitcoin address (which is also your public key). If the wallet software is well designed, it will look as if your bitcoins are actually there, which makes using bitcoin more convenient and intuitive.Actually, a wallet usually holds several private keys, and many bitcoin investors have several wallets.Wallets can either live on your computer and/or mobile device, on a physical storage gadget or even on a piece of paper.

It's better to store your bitcoins in a cryptowallet and it shouldn't be online. The best option is an offline wallet or even a paper one, if talking about long term.

I'm usually at luno.com

the most important thing when storing bitcoin in online wallet is, avoid phishing attacks.
usually criminals create a fake site that makes us will enter a username and password to get in and then they finish off our wallet. so we have to be careful.
sometimes they also attack via email, so you should be more thorough again and always check email from the sender.

The best way to store it should be in the blockchain. The cold storage facility will cost you more and moreso, the safety is very assure in blockchain. And you can use Trezor or Ledger wallet if you have so much that you cannot afford to loose them.
You means blockchain.info wallet?

NO it is not safe to store as hardware wallet storage because blockchain.info wallet is an online wallet so someone is holding your funds for you,so it is not a wallet. If you can't afford to buy hardware wallets then save your bitcoins in electrum it is one of the best wallet for bitcoin and keep your private key safely because you need that if you want to access your wallet.

Due to the fact that each transaction in the network blocking must be confirmed by other network members, it is simply impossible to forge a translation or any translation into bitcoins.

I use blockchain wallet as it's quite safe, my private keys are well written down and kept in a safe place. I also keep some in bitcoin.com wallet as keeping all your bitcoin in a single wallet is not advisable in case one of your wallets gets compromise, you always have something to fall back on. I am also looking into getting a hardware wallet so I can better safeguard my bitcoins.

I always worried about my coins and to be secure i use Hardware wallets and software wallets instead of an online one. After hearing the news of wallets hacks i become scared i spend 100$ from my bitcoin and buy hardware wallet. Whenever we talk about wallets i always suggest to use hardware or software. Hackers are now wise enough they can easily hacked anything on internet.

Since I was first acquainted with bitcoin, I only use web wallet from coinbase and xapo, it does not matter because I enable 2FA security features, and I'm glad coinbase and xapo have VAULT features so it takes at least 3 days to make sure bitcoin is realy to send.

I have them in wallets. properly secured with all security measures activated. I have altcoins in exchanges which I trade with so moving them back and forth is not really advisable that's why I leave them them. I am going to get a hardware wallet soon though. It's much safer than online wallets but more expensive to there's that.

In my ledger if it's an ERC20 token, but I leave some tokens on exchange to be able to trade faster, even if it's not recommended...

Mostly I prefer to keep them on my blockchain wallet but sometimes I do have some on exchanges to buy some alts or do some small tradings but mostly I keep them on a personal wallet because I do not trust exchanges for holding coins.
