I don't think I have a pattern, I just play whatever whenever I want really. I also removed my usual style of doing a monthly schedule, so I play whenever I want to play. I still set a certain amount I can use every month that I don't exceed so that I don't overspend, but other than that, I don't try to set anything. It just takes away the fun most of the time, was rather stressed as well when I  did it on schedule as well.

Sports bets depend on the tourney, sometimes I like to bet on some, and sometimes I don't. Bankroll management is, as I said, a set amount per month. I don't exceed that and whatever I win I also use. If there's still leftover, I subtract that from my usual amount and then deposit what's lacking. I don't manage how I spend it on the casino, I just spend it whenever I want to.

While listening to music, that's for sure. I don't want to be listening to the sound of slots rolling or any music they provided for it.
Strategies. Hmm, I did love staying in one game before but when I heard it's better to play different games after a win, I do that now. I think I also realized that after losing a lot of time by sticking to just one game.
Now, I also play slots like Tome of Life and RIP City, then I go back to Keno and Plinko. That's my only strategy and it seems to work that way, I also enjoy playing more games than being stressed trying to chase losses in just one game.
I did play like 5 hours in just one game with a seed that seems to be with a working RTP but damn I didn't win any but lost just a bit. Sadly, I wasted too much time playing it.
IMO, tracking losses or profits in a spreadsheet is not a good thing, it might just help you remember all the regrets and mistakes that you have done.

I used to exclusively gamble on Saturdays for an hour or two, and I would only play dice and call it quits afterwards. That pattern was on for almost a year before I became busy and moved on to other things. Right now, I still find time to gamble, although not as regular as it was 3 months ago and not much has changed. I don't look for the casino, nor do my hands itch to get a game going. I know I wasn't hooked, but being a habit that I tried to keep for so long, it really messed me in a way that I feel like something is missing in a week if I don't gamble even just for a few minutes.
It means that you are a consistent person, the same as what I do also gamble only on weekends because I have busy work demands so that I have to make money for my family through work, gamble on weekends at least every week there is time to gamble you don't have to gamble every day after all sitting a few hours using a cell phone playing casino games to kill time and also waiting for the ball game to start.

I prefer to bet on football sports betting which usually happens mostly on weekends so I can take the time for that and while waiting for the match to start I play casino games to get rid of boredom and it's fun. if we continue to be consistent then we will not become addicts, there is nothing wrong with looking for fun for just a few hours in gambling.  Wink

That means you still have limited gambling patterns and this can help you become a responsible gambler.
You stated that you have been in this way for more than a year, so that means that in the future it will be even easier if want to quit.
Very rarely have I come across a gambler who can have limits and completely control every game he makes.
Sometimes people forget what the impact of gambling is and they don't think about the long term which could actually bring ruin.
I once tried to only play one game with very limited game sessions but in the end it all failed.

Now I rarely play gambling, unlike before I gamble almost every day until my money runs out and then stop. It was bad experience for me. Now I can control myself in gambling, I play only when I'm in a good mood

I usually play at night, I think night is a quiet time so I can focus and enjoy every bet. I didn't spend a lot of money, I just deposited a little money and played it casually.

Actually I want to give up gambling altogether, but it's very difficult. Now I limit myself to only playing on weekends.. But sometimes I still lust, and spend all my weekly pay. If that happens, I will ban myself from playing until next month.

I don't have a gambling addiction, but I acknowledge that there are issues with my gambling habits that need to be addressed and corrected. One of the effective ways to tackle this is by observing, imitating, or modifying the patterns of other gamblers to suit me best. I'm curious about your own gambling lifestyle. Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling? If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available? When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble? As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods? And regarding your environment, do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere? I may have missed other aspects, but these questions should suffice for now. I look forward to reading your thoughts and comments.
I never even thought if i was copying other people's habits. It might have been a good idea at the start, but then again i feel my gambling is for me, including the decisions i make, and set of rules and limits i made for myself. And those rules are tailored for my habits, flaws, income flow, favorite games and strenghts.

I am using excel to manage all my money, so it includes gambling as well. If i am playing my home i used to make drinks for myself, have replaced alcohol and cigars with comfort snack food and listening to jazz radio Smiley. Also sometimes i take a break and go jogging. That i am using to calm my nerves and break any losing streak.

Now that i think of it, i am guessing i picked up some habits from experienced players, like don't take more money to physical casino then i want to gamble. Also don't drink and gamble. Other stuff is are my own inventions (i think) to make my gambling as pleasant as possible.

There's no such pattern when i do gamble because it would be always be coming on a way on which it would really be totally random which most of the time it would really be pertaining on the time that i would really be

that vacant on which if ever i do see that i do have some time on doing gambling or i do see that im really minding about having some fun on doing so then i would definitely be playing it but of course everything would really be having that allocation when it comes to money to be spent out on this kind of activity and on the time that i would be busting up those numbers then for sure i would really be completely stopping and never
ever tend to go beyond with those amounts so that i wouldnt really be wrecked up by gambling.

There might be some patterns on some people but for me it would really be just totally random. Doesnt matter if theres have or not as long you do know on how to handle your finances
then that what matter most because this is where people do usually fail on doing so.

Usually, I tend to gamble on football betting. if, in one week there are three different competitions. I will try to select it first every team that will play. I mean, before I choose and place a bet, I will check the odds provided by the dealer. After that, I will try to analyze the fights that caught my attention. Usually, I bet on the single bet option. even then, after I did research and analysis first. of all the matches that will be played, I will only choose a minimum of 3 matches. even then, in a choice of different leagues. but this condition also depends on the situation, and the mood when I will make a bet. or, I can choose the option of betting on the parlay.

As a whole, there is no specific concept that I do. everything just flows, yes just for fun. because football, is the sport that I like the most. if the match schedule doesn't offer big match matches, with a small bankroll it's enough, and vice versa. which is in essence, as I said. I don't have a special pattern, the most important thing is that every choice and bet I make will go through a very thorough analysis process. yes, it's that simple.

I don't have any particular patterns either, but in general I prefer to bet only on sports events. That's why I don't bet too much in the summer as the leagues take a break. So, I'm comfortable limiting myself. If I couldn't help myself (that is, if I was a total addict) I would try to take up other hobbies and keep my mind busy with new things that would interest me. It is not right to live as someone who is addicted to the 24/7 betting screen. In my opinion, everything is beautiful in its dosage and the bet is also beautiful in its dosage. Extremism is bad in everything.
You might discover a pattern later on if you’ll start recording your gambling activities and with my experience, that I’ve realized I prefer to gamble more on a roulette and sports betting, I find this entertaining and profitable at the same time especially with betting. Though, I don’t have a real pattern on when to gamble, I just do this every time I’m bored and if I still have extra money left for my budget in gambling.

For me personally, I allocate a weekly budget for online gambling, where I place bets on sports events and enjoy playing new casino games. As for visiting a physical casino, I do so approximately every three months, where I have fun and allocate a separate budget that I don't regret losing. In case of winning, I enjoy having a cold beer and interacting with the people around me, building new relationships. Usually, I offer advice to other gamblers to help them avoid pathological addiction.

It's great that you are taking steps to control your gambling habits and maintain a specific budget. It's important to remember that responsible play and risk management are the foundations of a healthy gambling lifestyle. If you feel that your gambling habits are negatively impacting your life or becoming uncontrollable, it is best to seek professional help. There are various resources available, such as helplines and support groups, that can provide assistance and guidance for individuals dealing with gambling-related issues.

No. I do not set aside specific times for gambling. I do tend to gamble more on the weekends (and on days when there is nothing else to do).

Quote
If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available?

I enjoy to watch games whenever they are on, but I do not make it a point to bet on them every night. That said, if I find myself with nothing else to do on a Sunday afternoon and there is some game going on, then sure.

Quote
When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble?

I usually stick with the casino I like best, because I do not usually try out different ones.

Quote
As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods?

I do not track my bankroll. I have a general idea of how much money I have at the casino, but it is not something I keep track of on a daily basis.

Quote
And regarding your environment, do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere?

I prefer listening to music in the background, but it really does not matter much.

I think this depends on the nature of your job and the free time you always have. For me, I am mostly busy Monday through Friday, although on Friday I do have just 6 hours to work, so most of the time I can visit the casino on Friday or Saturday, depending on my activity for that weekend. I gamble on sports more frequently any time the game is available; sometimes I can receive booking codes from my friends and just go to my casino account and place those bets, and sometimes my friend can do it for me. Gambling is for fun and not an occupation, so if you have an occupation that helps you earn a sustainable income, then you will give it more time than gambling.

For me I don't think I have any specific time or way that I practice my gambling habits, for me its all about the moment, whenever I feel like gambling and I know I have spare cash am not using I just fund my wallet and start forecasting for some nice games to put my cash on. But for sport betting I prefer just betting on teams I have passion for so I guess for that aspect it will be on an occasional period for example like this period when not much league are in action I just snub sport betting because I don't feel comfortable putting my money on teams I have no idea about.
^ That is quite a good idea and thank you for sharing your perspective on your gambling habits.
I think it is important to be mindful of your financial situation and ensure that you have spare cash before engaging in gambling activities. It is also great that you follow your passion when it comes to sports betting and choose to bet on teams you have knowledge of and interest in. This could be can enhance your enjoyment and potentially improve your chances of making an accurate bet. It is understandable that you probably do not feel comfortable betting on teams you have no knowledge about, especially during periods when fewer leagues are in action. Remember to always gamble responsibly, stay within your limits, and should gamble for fun not chasing lose.

i also have the same approach when it comes to gambling. i don't have specific times that i will gamble, it entirely depends if i have extra funds and have particular sports that i want to bet on or in the mood of playing and have spare time. i guess, if you don't want to have issues when it comes to gambling, much better if you will just play when you have extra money from your pocket. otherwise, you are bringing yourself into trouble.
this is why i can say, i'm just an occasional gambler these days.

Gambling addiction doesn't just start from anywhere it's as a result of the ways you have been gambling. It could be you gambled too much without taking a break and this lead to you getting addicted or you mishandled you're finances by exceeding over your budget.

When that continue, it became a lifestyle for you. As a gamble you have to have a pattern and not just gamble whenever you feel like doing so, you have to be in control of your gambling activities.Personally I gamble during the weekend so if there was to be any games going on doing the weekdays I won't gamble

I'll have to wait for those that'll be played during the weekends for my to be able to gamble. I love watching the games while I bet . My job also makes it possible I don't have any free time until it's the weekends so it fits into my routine perfectly and makes me to have a pattern.

first of all i will answer about all my budget every week. well right then and there I will only bet when I want to relax and have fun at gambling with the budget every week that I have. if my budget is still left in a week maybe every day or even once every week because i gamble just for fun and i know when to stop gambling.
but if it's less in a week my budget runs out maybe only once a week.

for sure my betting patterns depend on my budget and free time and are not as complicated as you say like tracking losses or wins using excel.

I am not a regular gambler so I do not set a specific time of a day each week.  I only play when I have an extra fund so my gameplay is somehow random.

Quote
If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available?

I am not a sport betting guy, I am more on slots because I always wanted to have a hands on experience in my gambling session.  This means, I wanted to play an interactive games.

When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble?

I prefer online casino since I prefer playing alone without any prying eyes so I seldom visit a casino.

When it comes to bankroll I just track them on the casino records and I prefer a quiet atmosphere, I even sometimes mute the audio of the game.

Fortunately I have managed to only play during Thursdays and Saturday/Sunday.I can never imagine my weekend without gambling while on Thursday is just a superstition of mine that slot machines give the huge payouts during that day in most of the times  Grin although I am not at all a superstitious person.Sport bets I place every time I see a reasonable bet and no matter what day is I don't care about it.

I like a very quiet atmosphere with my headphones plugged into my phone and laid down on my sofa relaxing,I set a budget prior to play otherwise it is not relaxing anymore if you keep losing and losing more money  Grin.
