Bitcoin will survive i think so .
It can survive for very long time I guess. It has a very unique and leader role in the digital world. Yes, crypto currencies can overcome bitcoin but bitcoin will stay to be supported.
Bitcoin will last forever. If there are still investors and support from the community and continuing to believe on the bitcoin, it will be forever. Bitcoin will need effective adoption to keep its dominance in place. Awareness is definitely increasing.
I strongly believe that bitcoin will surely survive last forever in cryptocurrency industry because Bitcoin is the mother of all another cryptocurrency. I think Bitcoin will continue to exist as long as there are enthusiasts and investors, but many governments or countries try to manipulate and control the cryptocurrency industry by introducing new rules. On the other hand, at present, there are many companies that have accepted bitcoin and use it in business. So I think if there are crypto, then there will be Bitcoin forever.
I don't seem to understand why many people think bitcoin will crash in cryptography world, to me don't see this to happen easily because if we all take our time to study cryptocurrency you will all see that bitcoin has a very big roll it playing.
Bitcoin, i feel can survive as long as Cryptocurrency continues to exist because, its the strongest currency, still is. Somehow all altcoins are woven around it.

Lots of people's use bitcoin as a investment factor. This cause to maximize the capital of Bitcoin. But how long Bitcoin will survive in this industry ? Because lot's of government try to manipulate and control the crypto currency industry via introducing new regulation. As a country some one can do vast harm to bitcoin. We saw some of in past. If Bitcoin fail in this industry it will be a biggest financial crisis in this century.
I think it will survive for a long period of time as long as people continue to like using bitcoin, as long as it is efficient and effective for the people in the bitcoin community it will be alive and be used widely. 
It is not difficult for Bitcoin to survive in cryptocurrency industry since Bitcoin is the first and foremost currency and also known as the king of currency in the world of crypto's . So to my point of view Bitcoin can survive in the world of cryptocurrency industry . Until the investors are there Bitcoin has value and also bear in mind not to invest all of your earnings in Bitcoin investment only part of your earning to be invested since gradually everything will loose its value since there is nothing that survive for ever.

the government is unlikely to stop the circulation of bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized. Bitcoin transactions are hard to trace by the government and therefore the government may find it difficult to interfere in the bitcoin world. But the government can enact a law on bitcoin policy
Even with BTC being the biggest Crypto for such a lengthy period of time, can BTC even survive another 10 years with all its short-comings and the amount of progress being made by other coins like ETH etc?
Bitcoin will be the last man standing if this all goes to hell and we all lose our money.

I'm convinced that the trend of bitcoin usage will continue to increase so marketcap is also increasing, it certainly makes bitcoin can last for a long time and I'm sure it can last at least 50 years from now.

there will be no extinction for Bitcoin because a Blcokchain chain can not be falsified and duplicated.

Some people think that crypto might be coming to end soon because of various regulations from many countries and the fact that some countries are banning the use of cryptocurrency outrightly. But I think crypto is here to stay and less than 7% of the world population have an idea of what blockchain is all about. People are skeptical about it for now but I believe there will still be a mass adoption soon as cryptocurrencies are being used to solve several daily problems.
Bitcoin can survive in this world quite easily as its decentralized and even if few governments ban Bitcoin its working wont be effected and it will be working as usual. But how long Bitcoin can be the king and survive in the crypto industry is a question that I'm not sure about. Bitcoin for me will stay here in our world. Because we can used bitcoin now on more different function like paying bills, transferring money. But there is a bad influence on the some of bad people like money laundering. We can hide our money on the bitcoin to avoid detection of our government.
