I believe bitcoin will last so long other currency of nation's of the world last. Bitcoin has come of age that its live will remain forever so long all investors remains alive. Bitcoin community has in recent time continue to grow from strength to strength. As more investors are coming in to utilize the investment opportunity in crypto currency that will make bitcoin to last forever.
Vote for "forever". But to be serious, I hope it is here for a long run. The community is expanding day by day. Though like any other technology-based innovation, it will need regular improvements to be up and running for many years to come.
I think Bitcoin will be around for more than 30 to 40 years for sure and it will become extremely popular in coming 2 to 3 years. One can expect tremendous growth from Bitcoin and its price is expected to show a massive growth in 10 years.
I agree with you fully...since it has been popular and accepted in recent years so that it can be assumed that Bitcoin will last long. day by day it is getting available at everywhere, many developed countries are considering it to allow as a legal currency, already Japan has declared as legal currency, South Korea also has taken it seriously to allow it... so the future of bitcoin is certain from my point of view...

I can't predict how bitcoin last, but as of now it is in demand of other online trading because we are now in technology age. If it is possibly crash many people sure depress in this situation. I think for almost next centuries.
I think bitcoin last another more 50 years at least, it is an automated virtual currency so nobody can't terminate this process, many hackers are trying to hack bitcoin site but all effort has gone end in smoke. so I have a belief that Bitcoin will last many years because of having popularity around the world.

There are number of factors which will decide the fate of bitcoin. The demand curve, Utility, Security and most importantly sustaining its position in the financial landscape.
Nobody have mentioned it here, but I want to bring a different perspective to this discussion. What if some new and completely different kind of currency came into existence in future that is more reliable than cryptocurrencies as technology and invention will not end on cryptocurrencies. There is more to come. Thus, I would say nobody can really predict when bitcoin will end.

It's hard to tell how long will it last. It will depend on ita effectiveness. If there are still people who benefits and invests for BTC, its existence will continue. Most of people panics whenever its value decreases eventhough it happens often. It also deoends on Market's demand so we need to assume uncertainty on its value. Nobody have mentioned it here, but I want to bring a different perspective to this discussion. What if some new and completely different kind of currency came into existence in future that is more reliable than cryptocurrencies as technology and invention will not end on cryptocurrencies. I think for now we cannot measure it, because bitcoin is just starting to create its name , so probably, we are not yet in the first decade where in it really grows and contribute a lot thing internationally.

Current situation of price drop is completely different and it is related to segwit2x. The price of bitcoin will rise again once the matter is closed with correction into technology. I'm complete believer of bitcoin and it can withstand such hard forks any given time in the future. So just get your investment ready for the future.

In my own opinion, bitcoin can last a very long time not only in 20 years. I believe that bitcoin can really achieve there goal for being the strongest currency in the world. But if bitcoin's price crash or fell down it very possible that bitcoin will not ast longer becayse some of users will stop using it. But i hope that will never happen.

I believe in bitcoin more than anything now and I'm sure about its existence until hundred years for sure. I am predicting that technology of bitcoin will change in the future and it will be complete and more interactive than the current one. There is no hard time now because bitcoin is just growing from its infancy stage and making it more stable. It will work for the time sun goes off and would be more and more powerful by that time.

As long as the community is is continually patronizing bitcoin even it takes a decades it will exist forever. Dropping or crashing the value its just a normal thing but it will resume sooner or later. I think no one knows how long will bitcoin last. But I think, as long as there are people who benefit from cryto and as long as people finds it useful for them especially with investments, Bitcoin will last for a long period of time. We'll just pray for more of crypto's success in the near future.
Cutting something from your statement is that. There is no last long period of time of bitcoin. Because there are many success by bitcoin. Bitcoin has accepted in few countries which is spreading like a Facebook there are problem in a first but more strongly it would become in a future. So we should go for investment without fairs. One more is the popularity of it.
It is hard to bring down something that have the support of the people. Add the value of it that grew this much.
Way too different with the altcoins that lacks support and lacks investors.
