Personally, I hope that blockchain will replace the banking system and make it the property of people, not a few fatties in greasy tuxed. I will be very happy when it happens.

Government and banks are considering cryptocurrencies already, it would be stupid of you who are investing in crypto no to believe in bitcoin and ETH. They are going to survive even if countries bann btc.

in my view, It's hard to say how it will happen in the future. The only thing that could possibly kill a crypto is when the internet goes down regulation or any regulator can not kill cryptocurrency. But that is just the beginning of a technology perspective that has the potential to change the world.
There are a lot of things to be considered. One of them is that after 5 years a code usually become very big and it's hard to manage it. I don't think that a lot of coins will stay for more than 5 years just from that point of view.
