With the market dropping as I am now I have lost 50% of the investment but I patiently hold and wait for the moment I believe the market will grow again later this year.
I am a beginner. I am sorry that I have late got acquainted with the world of BTC and an altkoin. But now I see good time for myself to begin to earn and gain more knowledge so far the market is in a bottom.
From Janurary to this present day, I will say that my altcoin are at a big loss and that is why I am holding patiently till the bull run starts because I believe the price will increase when the bull run starts.
Yes, what you say is that up to now altcoin has dropped dramatically, hopefully it won't last long, but many people predict that at the end of the year the price of altcoins will increase by making good luck and hoping for great sir.
I'm sure that every investor has suffered in recent months. But this is not an excuse for selling coins and fixing losses. As for me, we need to wait for growth. There is no sense in selling altcoins that have fallen in price by 30-90 percent. Although thats a huge loss but I'm a hodler and don't care about the prices much as I believe the in the projects of the coins I invested in.

I had loss my money around %70 of my money. Most people loss their money %50-%70 of investment and most people leave the from market with loss we should stay on the market If we dont sell our coins actually we dont loss money just hold our coins.
It is not ethereum’s fault. The reason why ETH has been this way is bitcoin. At the start of this year, BTC was also at its peak. If not all then most of the crypto coins or at least ETH does exactly the same as BTC. This is how the digital market has been since the beginning. Moreover, it is not ethereum which has shown the biggest decrement in value.
I have covesting in january the prices is 3 usd and now the prices is below 1 usd. I'm cutloss at a prices of 1,5 usd in april because i think it will take a long time to raise up again.

The most basic exam I can give is of ethereum , ethereum was the altcoin which was at 1500 USD at the beginning of the year but in the past six months it has been decreased to one-third of that value back to 5000 USD and is still at a downturn
40 percent of people's altcoins down %50-%75(so am I). Its a huge numbers but we should just wait and these loss repaired. We earn a lot of money just wait and be patience.
Most of the altcoins from my portfolio lost at least half of their price. Good that I bought them when they were very cheap. Now, I am waiting for the bull run time.
If they are half of the ATH price then you really cherry picked the best I suppose
