I met such bets, which concerned the upcoming elections. But according to preliminary data provided by various sociological services, the result of the elections was known long before the elections themselves. So the chances were very slim and I saw no point in taking part.

~In my opinion, each vote counts and we should always give importance to our acts. But this is the case where there is no corruption or manipulation of results. In a space of lies, votes of public do not have any importance. whether someone agrees or not, everything is decided before the elections ever take place. If not all, then most of the countries run on this principle. Politics betting is the easiest one.

I'm pretty sure that in most democratic countries elections are fair, and that's why it's not that easy to predict the results. And in the countries that are called "democratic", while, in fact, they are not, opposition has no voice, and citizens are brainwashed to the extent that they willingly give their votes to dictators. There is no need for manipulations even. For such countries politics betting would be easy, but, for obvious reasons, no one is accepting bets for countries like Kazakhstan.
A coin has two sides and every matter of life is like a coin. Democratic countries are believed to give power in the hands of citizens but this holds true for few countries only. In Most countries of this world, governments use different ways to win the elections. There are many manipulation methods. Politics betting is easy to win when someone can see through the plans of major authorities.

Again, that's why no one is accepting bets on politics  for most countries of the world. It's not that hard to know the plans of major authorities in undemocratic countries. Their plan is to stay in power, and one can say with 99.99% certainty that the plan will be executed, so, it's understandable that such bets are not accepted.

For countries such as UK, USA, and most countries from the EU, bets are accepted, but political betting for those countries is not easy.

Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?

Never have I thought of betting in politics, especially in my country as it can be unpredictable at times. Nor there are my friends or in network who shared to have bet on politics. I have not also heard about sites which have portfolio to support betting on politics. I would rather prefer to bet on sports or try my luck with arcade games.
I think we are not here to discuss the duty of the politicians but one thing that you said was right. If we totally should keep our personal affairs away if we want to make money from political betting. Yet recently in my country, I can see the party that my family does not like going to win in next voting so I am planning to bet but still I am not going to vote for him.

I often hear politics in the real world. But to gamble in politics, I have never done it before and it's difficult for me. I have no expertise in gambling in politics, is every day politics always there to stake?

I like to bet on political events because I used to have a big interest in politics in the past, and some knowledge still remains. Also, if it's about something almost absolutely new to me, I don't mind learning new facts about other countries. Like it or not, politics is a part of our life, in a sense that it affects our lives directly or indirectly. So, I think if we can learn something from this field, even just in order to have better chances of winning a bet, it won't hurt.

It is not a good way of gambling in politics.
Politics can affect your life based on the elected politician. If you make a bet on someone then you are emotionally bonded with this choice and your brain might be affected and make the wrong choice when you vote because you make the bet on this politician. Those two decisions that you have to do should be separated with each other.

C'mon, you can't be serious. Do you really think that your vote makes a difference? Yes, various political parties say that before every election, but what they want to achieve with that is to attract hundreds of thousands new voters to polling stations, the voters who would otherwise skip the elections. One vote, or even a hundred votes, can hardly make a difference unless it's the election of the school president.

When betting on politics, I prefer the way I've learned from other political bettors: if a politician you don't like has big chances of winning, you bet on him/her, and then you are obviously in a win-win situation. Smiley
Right this is the reality that no politician will fulfill his promises and he only trolls you with their words so better we also should think about our own benefit and bet on the team that you think will win as don't bring your personal thinking or ideas into it. Choose the most liked party to invest your money on as its about gambling not about politics.

I have always been limited to sports only, and I am not very good at sports, but I have friends who help me with advice.
But politics is quite a familiar and predictable thing for me, although I have never relied on political events.
Now I’m even curious how much my predictions in politics will be true in the future. Perhaps I will seize the opportunity and try to make several bets on upcoming events.

Be cautious and gamble with only extra money which you can afford to lose . Politics in many countries are unpredictable as people change the entire scenario where the probable who might win does not win , at times money also play vital role in politics.
There is nothing like extra money in this world. Every single penny that is earned after hardships has its own importance. A person who has spend a big portion of his daily time in getting that money wont call it extra. Betting amounts in gambling should be only that much which when lost wont harm the financial health of a gambler. It should just keep him away from poverty in all cases.

Before that election Hillary Clinton was widely published that she is going to win the election the odds does not favor trump that is why he has a higher odd however and surprisingly Trump won personally I never consider him him winning that election, I believed gamblers prefers staking or betting on daily basis rather than a longer term betting synonymous with politics and losing such a bet in politic despite waiting so long for the outcome of an election would be very disappointing not encouraging when there are diverse aspects of betting.

Politics seems to be one of the hardest way on prediction on who will win because as we can see in the internet and also in the news there are many research or studies that varies about the percentage of the said places on who are the most strongest and competitive politician in the area, in which we really don't know who are having the greatest votes and etc. Actually it is very often for me to bet on politics because I don't really want to bet on it because it is just I am betting on who will win to the position on who will be the leader of my country and etc. it is likely you are just betting on who will be the winner that will be the one who will lead and be the superior of your area or country.
Even with little to no interest, a person can easily predict the outcomes of elections. In case of Trump, everyone knew beforehand that he would become the next president of America. Same goes for Modi of the India. His election result was already predicted with hundred percent accuracy. Its neighbor, Pakistan is no different. One can predict its own government more easily than others. However, this is a rare type of betting.

Politics betting is not something common because not many people are interested in cheap games of governments. Besides, it is no fun at all. Gambling is entertainment only when bets are placed on some sort of games, which themselves are fun. Keeping an eye on politicians is more of an agent work than a gambler. Still, if you like to gamble this way, there is nothing wrong with that.
You see the thing differently. As I've said, it's not about the cheap games of the gov't and if you don't know what's the true score of that gov't then don't bet on that election.

rarely make bets on politics, because I don't really like it. anyways I also don't know anything about politics outside my country. it's better to bet on sports and e-sports than to bet on politics that make me dizzy.
I also don’t like to bet on politics because I don’t watch the news and having very low information about country daily political news. I try to learn about it but it’s hard to understand something when you don’t know anything about it. I personally want to bet on sports and gamble with games but when my friends support me I will bet on politics too.
