I never bet on politics. It's too risky. Because if you don't know about politics, you will lose. Again, many times it is already clear who will win the next elections in many countries. Many times everyone thinks that this team will win, then the opposite happens. Overall, it's a high risky thing.

Yes, politics may seem predictable because they have like polls every now and then but I don’t normally bet on politicians...
Same thoughts here. The surveys conducted will surely help a lot on those who wants to bet on politicians. Based on my observation here in our country, the surveys are almost 80-90% accurate (though I'm not really sure about that number. It's a mere estimate.) Those politicians who are favored by the people on survey are usually the  ones who win at the election.

Though it could be predicted with the poll's and survey's help, I don't bet on politics. I just don't feel like betting on something which can be manipulated at some point since there are news of cheating every now and then in this dirty game.

Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics?

They don't understand politics, they don't gamble and there are not many casinos who take betting on politics.

The first time I bet on politics I lost. And Donald Trump won. The last time I bet on politics, I lost again. Borris is the new PM of the british.
So you can say that I do not often bet on politics but when i do, I lose mostly
welcome to gambling world mate ..you must used to it specially in politics that only ave few choices, just take it an advantage compared in betting in casinos or in online.
imagine dice has small percentage of bringing you win,but in politics sometimes its 50-50 chances only

Yes, politics may seem predictable because they have like polls every now and then but I don’t normally bet on politicians, the only time that I made a bet on politics is on Clinton and Trump but unfortunately I lose because I bet on Clinton. I though it’s a sure win because Clinton appears to be a very strong competitor but in the end it’s Trump. Anyways, I only did it just for fun and because my friend encourage me to do the betting.
so you both losses at the same time?what a coincidence ?next time don't just go with the majority but do your own assessment of how a politician may win
When at a place a person win because of luck or whatever but people also start doing with out knowing the skill behind winning it. Better make your own skills and just work on what you do then you will be able to have same benefit other wise the thing happened to them will happen to us that’s why you should know the position of every politician.

This is a first to me.

I mean not gambling but hearing this type of gambling.

I never thought people are even betting on politics. You know since in our country, there is a lot of vote-buying that is happening and I can't trust the election to be a clean one, I guess that is the same with other countries and they still on bet on it?
People do bet on politics and that too not with small amount of money. This is done with huge lots of money because politics is a dirty game of power and money. Those who are involved in this kind of bets are the ones who have close relations with parties in power and they have more knowledge than layman about election results.

I would expand the topic by types of betting on social and cultural events (e.g Oscars or the Eurovision song contest). Bookmakers in my country every year expand the list of exotic events and that`s a good marketing. As for me I bet the last time on political outcomes a few years ago but I don`t do it anymore because of high risky external factors that may happen.
I really like this kind of events in bookmakers line because it gives me a lot of infromation about social mood of the people.

Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?

I will apply this question to our local politics, yes and no, people here do not bet on who will win the presidential and vice-presidential because the surveys here already provide us who will likely win in the race, and most of the time these surveys are all correct, we only bet on senator on who will get in last because this is always a source of controversy and excitement, we bet on 12 senators on every election and the 11 and 12 places are what people are betting.
I'm fully aware on which country you do live in  Grin Surveys would really be on high chances to be accurate and same on my place too where these betting types doesn't exist due to that same reason where theres a survey and its clear on whose gonna win.Dont know about that last 11-12 senator though.

Generally, I don't like to bet on politics because you cant be sure on what would be the circumstances that would happen along the way specially on the last hour.
Yes,its gamble but I don't like the feels into this field.

I don't really bet on Politics mostly because they happen only so rarely. Like once in a year or two you get to bet for which party to come to power. Politics are more predictable than other events, but in my opinion being able to bet on them just adds more opportunity for corruption and influence power for the media. I think we are all aware that behind sports betting is a big mafia/group that makes some "hits" from time to time, if you know what I mean.

Another partly political issue now. Is Britain really heading to Brexit or these delays will lead into readmission to EU?

That is the million dollar question! We suspect that the recent "progress" f the past few days will show itself to be a charade by the UK government so that they can blame the EU when talks break down. And the EU is also playing the game, 'engaging' up until the last minute despite knowing that talks are unlikely to go anywhere.

After (if) talks break down... who knows. There will be more drama as UK government tries to leave in a no deal Brexit.. court appeals and protests etc etc. But the most likely is a 3 month extension and election just before Xmas.

We're looking forward to following the drama with some topical markets when exbet.io goes live later this year.

I am interested but I haven't experienced it. I remember during President Trump's election. He was a big underdog because the media is too bias on Hillary Clinton. The election was close but the odds are seeing it differently. I was surprised too when Trump was leading in the last quarter of the results and was few hours later he made a safe margin.

I don't gamble often but when I do, I usually bet on the stupidity of the politicians and so far I was mostly right. You can't go wrong with that strategy. If there is a possibility for things to go worse, it does. I wish I wagered more though. Trump election and the Brexit voting alone would have made me rich.

I used to bet on politics back in those days until I lost in a bet typically because of electoral malpractices. My country is one of the worst country that elect leaders based on their wealth or sometimes bases on their influence. Having such a worst political platform will not encouraged gamblers to get involved in the game of betting. There  is no way you will be able to predict my country political elites when it come to politics.
I won’t be asking too much if I ask for the name of your country right? Because it sounds likes one of the African countries I know that are known for the highest rate of corruption. All countries are corrupt but some countries are extremely corrupt and they make life really difficult for their citizens. You can imagine the fear of gambling because of the fear of manipulation.

I don’t gamble on politics because it doesn't occur regularly, and I am not even into politics, definitely going to play on politics gambling is like a deliberate act to go and throw away money. I have only tried gambling on politics once and I didn’t regret losing the money because I knew I would loose of course. The game is for those who are current with political happenings.
I am sure you know you actually asked for so much by wanting to know the name of the country and if you ask me, there are a lot of corrupt countries not limited to African, and also I don’t really understand how a country's corruption affects the result of gamblers.

Politics gambling for me is the most interesting one ever, might not really be coming often but the profit received when won is always worth the risk involved in the game. I don’t play it very often because it’s not a regular game but whenever there is an opportunity to play, it is always worth the game but it’s just quite painful that politics gambling is not like others that are regular and consistent.

In my opinion the profits are the same as for other gambling. In gambling, the profits received are always directly proportional to the risks received and inversely proportional to the opportunities that are received where when we want a big profit then we must accept with a small opportunity. I myself do not like political gambling because it is difficult to predict, there are too many dirty games there because when I play gambling I will side with the team where I like it.

I am not aware of these kind of betting were available on gambling sites, only had these kind of bets with my friends and that's only just for fun. This kind of gambling can be highly predictable then how those sites were surviving while having this?
There are bettors so it's up to them on how they survive. They are not focusing on this kind of betting but it's just an additional option for their customers to bet on.
I think it's sustainable on their side providing some other interesting events that they can bet on like politics.

On the contrary, betting on politics is the most unpredictable kind of game. I am sure you have no idea what betting on politics could be like, if you did, you would understand better. I hate to bet on politics because I know the nature of the game, it can be deceitful and as well confusing and coupled with the fact it doesn't come very often like other games makes it even more discouraging.
IMO it's easier to bet on politics than an NBA game.

No but some people do this they get every year bet on politics but it’s hardly risky as you don’t know which candidate is going to get huge amount of voting but most of time people who are expert use to win. Those who bet on politics will have to get information first about it then bet about his win Or lose. Better avoid if you don’t have idea about betting.
