I am from the Philippines so placing a bet on the politics from another country would be hard however here in my country its quite predictable on who will win in politics most specially if its a local election. Go for those that are being endorsed by huge groups that votes in block voting, the chances of winning is big even if the opponent buy votes.
I'm not bet too often in politics because the time is very long, but right now I'm placing a bet on the Freebitco.in about "USA - Presidential Election 2020 - Democratic Nominee"... I think this is very good and I think it's easier to predict who the winner is.

Even I never come cross crypto betting on politics, it is completely new one which I have never seen before. Most of the reviews given to Trump in 2016 were completely negative, but finally, Trump won in the 2016 elections. Betting on Politics is really new one to me.
In some countries it might not be played online but between two parties who agree to do it; its mostly offline.
While some countries, it is an open online business . Though, I personally feel the risk is still higher.

And I think that politics should never be available for betting because when money is involved more corruption comes up and the election result may not be a transparent one.
Why not? Sportsbet.io have been doing this before but I don't know what is the result, there is a lot of gambling online allow to have betting in every election come. To be honest gambling on election day is illegal they supposed to be baned on that day, but it seems online gambling is not manipulated they do what they want. I never tried to bet on that kind of betting games. This coming election probably it will have again on some sportsbook site. And I think that politics should never be available for betting because when money is involved more corruption comes up and the election result may not be a transparent one.

There are big time gamblers who loss in election betting also because they were confident that Trump has no chance of winning.
All is written in the article I shared... so now, it's not if we can find that kind of odds, and we will see another upset again.

I have never in my life placed a bet on politics. I wanted to bet on Hilary Clinton to win the elections vs Trump a few years ago and we all know how that turned out so it is a good thing that I didn't. For those who like politics and have inside knowledge it can be a good opportunity to make a nice bonus.

For example, when trump won sp500 just went to the moon. Probably Hillary would have crashed sp500, at least in the first months.

Yes, this is going to be a completely new one which I didn't come across anywhere with the gambling websites. It is very hard to build this type betting website because we don't know a local person who is contesting and from which party they are nominating. Locally people themselves will bet on them by placing money in the intermediate person.

In my country for the past 5 elections now I can tell the next president, governors, and senator by just reading news and know where people's mind is.To tell you, there are different odds in election, of course those who are popular and people think will win will be the favorites, and normally, when you bet 100 usd, you don't win equal 100 usd, it's gonna be lower, depending on how popular the candidate is.
Lastly, sportsbook don't loss, they accept bets from different bettors and they balance the bets because they are only after with the commission from the winning bets.

I'm one of those people that doesn't really bet with politics and it's a good question why you're asking we're not into it.
The most common answer that you can hear is that the interest. I have interest in politics but I don't have an interest to gamble and bet with it. I find it odd and interesting but it just doesn't really fit my taste.

You're in it to try and make money, not to back any politician. And it's not your business to worry about how predictable or not, that is for the bookmakers to worry. Yours is to choose whichever odds you think will be best for you and bet on. Gamblers don't gamble with emotion, they gamble with calculations.
I recall at the last American presidential elections there were sites where you cod be on who would end up being elected as the POTUS with BTC. I wasn't very much into politics at the time and I'm still largely not a fan of politics, but I did place a bet back then and I plan on doing so again in the next election. It's really not something that interests me a lot in the end, and I'd much rather use my betting money on something like CS:GO.
Only once, it was few years ago when Obama was still the president I remember Trump and Hillary are the only ones who had the most favored odds. I chose trump over Hillary because of some youtube videos about which of them are the lesser evil.
I agree with you @Alle14, politic or political events are highly predictable though i have never gamble on any political event. With campaign leading to an election we can easily predict who is going to win unlike dice, binary option and lottery that are highly unpredictable.I never bet on Politics. Voting for these politicians alone is already a gamble so I do not see the reason why I should still put some money on them. There are already many things to gamble on and adding Politics is just silly.
It depends on the event, sometimes they are predictable if you follow politics. When directbet was still up wetsuit had a huge bet on trump to be the next president. 
What stops you in betting on Politics? --Cheating in politics. If you have been familiar with these kinds of cheating, then you probably know politics. In politics, desperate politicians will just slash their way out of everything that comes on it. They will cheat if need be since they're desperate. Even though we have digital votings on different countries, they do not care, they can cheat it anyway.
