I wonder how the odds will be like, cause I believe the outcome sometime with inside information can be predictable, also in military and autocratic system of government, the system is so corrupt and outcomes are enforced. Some outcomes can also be changed as a rich gambler with political influence, such will be in big tune of money to win.

nowadays politics are now getting tough because the politics are now using new technologies that can fight manipulation.  if the candicate is good , he/she have a higher chance of winning  <~~~~>

You should have speak for your country and not generally mate. Many countries are still in bondage when it come to technology, how can such a country be free from malpractices, either in political sectors or otherwise. My country have been using technology for elections but still yet, ring their electoral process everytime they wanted.
My country is corrupt and won't allow free and fair elections in the country.
looking at it critically there is no country without her politics, some are just good with covering it. USA in recent months had exposed a lot of their gimmicks.
USA is #1 imho when it comes to these gimmicks or politics betting where even on the slightest minimal issue would really have that corresponding odds.

Just like on that recent Whistleblower betting odds which I cant really believe that these small things can really possible to have some bets on how you do look at it.hehe
Overall about the question if I do bet out these things then I shall say that I don't usually engage on things that can be politically influenced.  Grin

Betting on politics isn't popular in my place that's why I don't have interest to it although I see bookmakers have it.

Are there any crypto gambling websites that allow such betting. I'd love to place a bet on Trump's impeachment date Grin.
I think onehash always list these kinds of election. Base on their archives, they always have it.

I used to bet on politics back in those days until I lost in a bet typically because of electoral malpractices. My country is one of the worst country that elect leaders based on their wealth or sometimes bases on their influence. Having such a worst political platform will not encouraged gamblers to get involved in the game of betting. There  is no way you will be able to predict my country political elites when it come to politics.

Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?

Here in our country, it will not apply to bet on politics, because at the start of the campaign, there are a lot of survey going on, these survey companies spend millions to give the public who are likely to win in the election, so it won't work here in our country, maybe in other countries where there are no surveys being held.

Except the US Presidential election that is due to be held next year, I do not think people are interested in betting on politics.

You may be right on this. US politics is very special in that it has a well-established format (Presidential election every four years, 2 parties only, long and structured primaries), that it has the dominant culture in the world today, and that it has been a highly televised event for decades (leading to very entertinment-friendly stagings and drama).

No other land comes close on those counts, but we still think there is the possibility for betting around wider politics questions. Agreed though that the market has a lot of maturing to do.

Except the US Presidential election that is due to be held next year, I do not think people are interested in betting on politics. Since it is not a frequent thing to have elections. The interest level in politics gambling can only happen when the election is due for a particular country or a particular leader. In this case, it is the US and Donald trump that interest the world of gamblers.

The surveys are usually right if those surveyed end up coming out to vote. I guess the surveys can be wrong if the losing side in survey succeeds in persuading many of his/her fans to vote... This is probably why the surveys are important to politicians and their supporters.
Yeah but what importance does it have to gamblers? You are not given the information publicly or even if you are given by that time the betting time is over. You can talk about an exitpoll but that too the bookies are aware of and they will end betting much before the real election starts. So I would say its more of a speculation and luck based. Its is definitely possible that your supported member wins but the opposite is also possible.

This is why people should avoid betting on events. Its same as EV- games.

Once I bet on politic but tt was not a popular event because it was a Local Leaders Election and I bet on it against friends. Frankly speaking, I'm not really interested to bet on such Politics thing because there are still many chances of manipulation that may happen during the events. I also feel that there is no thrills when betting on politics so it does not attract me at all to bet on political events.
Thats right, especially if you are in a poor country with a very high level of corruption, electoral vote manipulation is common, political position is only for people who have big money, sometimes you see good people who lose in elections because they don't have money to bribe the electoral council, I don't really like this kind of gambling.

Top gambling sites only offer this when there is an election on the country where they have a lot of members like the United States, here in our country it's hard to do betting because if these so many survey site that predicts who will eventually win, and the worse part is they are always correct in their surveys, no local online gambling site will dare set up a bet here.

I have never bet in politics. Because I really don't understand politics. So, it is very difficult to bet there.
Though many say betting in politics is very easy and can be profitable. I don't believe it's easy, for me it's easier to gamble dice or poker.

My case is also alike like at times the good candidates or party loses and others win . This just goes beyond thinking and in many countries where manual votes are taken into consideration their is high chances of manipulation happening internally .

Do we really have a lot of people here who bet for politics?

Sorry in our community this is not usual because the truth is we really don’t care about whom will be the winner because same thing happens every elections and that is corruption will be in position in the end

Maybe not unless the betting will be for the abolishment of politicians?Or politics? I will surely bet half of my funds

I remember seeing Hillary Clinton at 1.4x odds as next president of the U.S. for the longest time, thinking to myself that was easy money all day long. But I never actually bet on it, and now I'm glad I didn't, of course! Don't think I've ever been so wrong about something in my entire life. That's why I don't bet on politics.

The odd thing was, the site I was looking at didn't even have odds for Donald Trump, just "Republican Candidate." I guess Trump was too much of a wildcard.
I think that particular election had the highest number of gambling participants. Everyone taught it was a very good chance of making money, no one saw Trump coming at all. I had a bet on it, though not an online bet, but it involved a whole lot of money and I lost.

I don’t have regrets anyway because I understand that gambling is just that way and the worse thing with that bet, was the way everyone believed the election would be in favor of Hillary Clinton.

I don’t bet very of often, I only participated in the election between Trump and Hilary and that was my first and last bet on politics.

^ Which part that you don't understand? Just give a try because that was very exciting and give a thrill whos gonna will win at the end. Well, the first time I bet on politics was last 2016. During the presidential election in my country. I bet 5 thousand dollars because I get mad when there is someone who will discriminate my favorite presidentiable so fortunately my presidentiable won the election and he is the president of my country now. Nevertheless, I also earn from it and I feel so happy.
