I think knowing the team behind the ICO matters most. So i guess it's better to know each member of the team. If it has a picture, much better plus it would be great if their profile can be found in LinkedIn too. After that, their website and their whitepaper will be the things that i am going to consider before i spend my money investing on them or spending my time on the campaign.

I observed that most successful ICOs nowadays are those with small quantity of coins or tokens. The more the harder to buy the higher value it becomes after ICO. That's my speculation.

I think industry overall really crazy and unpredictable now... but it is a very interesting and important topic.. and I want to learn more about it.. I was thinking how.. so from my experience, I feel that conferences could be a good way to learn... I added one more option- Business Utility which means what the problem they are trying to solve.
I look for ICO's that are possibly backed up by some experienced advisors or strong companies. I check their whitepaper and roadmap, and if they already have some products or solutions.
Check the team behind the project, Is a plus if it has a community ready or if it has a live product

I prefer the road map, because we will know the project plan. It's useless if the team is good but the road map is unattractive and has no potential in the future.
