I do not think it is necessary to know about something and they will use the internet to find out about it. Most children are more receptive and hard to learn. Be interested in bitcoin to find out or not

I am a teenager so, by own experience, I know isn't that simple to understand like you are saying. I think nowadays, our generation is not having so much contact with this kind of information. Maybe because we're re still teenagers we don't care about this economic issues and debates so often as adult does. I think that as the time passes and the bitcoin become more popular, this problem will be solved.
Actually, bitcoin is very simple. we first explain to them that bitcoin is the digital currency or cryptocurrency. After that we introduce with a wallet address whose function is to store the bitcoin is the same thing as a common wallet that we often encounter to save money. After that, we explain how to transact using bitcoin and how to get bitcoin to our wallet address. Certainly when described in more detail will take a long time, I suggest to explain this bitcoin while practicing or a tutorial so that it can be easily understood by them.
I think we should apply Bitcoin to education and universally in high school, where there are the greatest number of youth or children. It will help them realize the virtual currency very early and can apply it in the future because digital currency will be widely used in the future. So the best way to explain to children and teens about Bitcoin is to get Bitcoin and sex education if the government accepts it as legitimate.
Its much easier to explain bitcoin to a teenager vs an old person who knows nothing else but fiat. Children are fresh to the world the concept of money is strange.

In my own opinion, Its not necessary for us to explain to children how to bitcoin works because their minds are still innocent but on teenagers yes it was better to teach them because some of them has already the mindset to get rich or to earn more money in the future.

That is why it is easy to convince them that Bitcoin is a bubble even though they pay with some worthless paper. I always begin with explaining transactions, blocks and mining. I have joined Bitcoin 2011 and I was a teenager at that time, I was only 14. The most attractive thing in Bitcoin was programming I loved its technical concept I loved how it provides the transparent network with the military grade security. I don't see any reason that is why teenagers on child will ignore it. Every human knows the value of money and this is the new face of the money so we have to just tell them how 2 use Bitcoin I think they are already interested in this I have to just understand it.
I think we can start explain bitcoin by tell them that bitcoin is like other international currencies dollar, euro and many else. They will understand and you explain more about bitcoin.

Im a teenager using bitcoin when i explain it to my friends(teenagers) they easy to understand it i say that bitcoin can earn money and they can change their life if they do this then i see them a picture with proof to make it clear to them.
When I try to explain Bitcoin to kids or some elderly relative, I just say this: "It's a foreign currency, like the Euro or the Yen. Except the foreign country is the Internet."

children doesn't need to know about currency,but teenagers does,and i think there's so many explanation video in youtube so don't wasting effort wasting your time when you can just give them about the link of video so they can learn from it,whether they will be interested or not,it's definitely depend on them
Its not as difficult as it seems to explain anyway just tell him how it is keep it basic just tell him all it really is like online currency that kind of runs like stock one day it can be lower and one day it can be higher. Your thinking about it hard but its rather simple I'm no wiz at bitcoin but in my understanding that is how it goes more or less. if the teenagers want to learn about bitcoin to use it as currency then it is ok they should learn it but if they are going to learn about it for investment pur poses then it is not good i think they should pay attention to their study and should not divert their attention from study to any other activity. You can try to play classic Monopoly with your children and try to talk about bitcoin as alternative payment during playing.
LOL, I think you have the idea for a new monopoly game, there could be two possibilities a monopoly game where you buy cryptocurrencies with fiat or you could use bitcoin to buy alts, I have no doubt that a game like that may appear in the future when bitcoin becomes really popular.

I am a teen ager and no one ever explain to me what is bitcoins i found it just by myself my research and those forums. But technically those who teaches me bitcoins are those who are unknown i do not even know them i just met them in a sicual media then i asked questions then they answered. But for me teaching it to kids is not necessarily needed because they do not care about it yet because they are kids all they want is to play and they do not know yet those decision making that needs in this industry.
In my own opinion, It is not necessary for us to teach bitcoins on kids but on teenagers yes it is, It was a nice idea if we are going to introduce bitcoins to teenagers because they will get interested quickly in earning a lot of money.
