I am a believer in spot action. We will see it when war will knock at the door, till then chill out.
Learn basic farming. Then learn how to store food without electricity like in the old days. Canning, underground barrels, etc.
After you learn about food, understand water and how to clean it as well as how to source out good water sources.

Not sure if anyone can truly prepare for WW3, but perhaps you can start by preparing the basement of your house (assuming you have one) as a bunker. Have plenty of water, can foods, duck tapes, gas masks, batteries, flashlights, candles, guns, ammos, portable generator, battery operated ventilation fan, knives, books, battery operated DVD player, gameboy / game console...and shovels.
Just don't think about the worst
The only preparation i am making, is to make some prominent hiding shelter with enough rations.
You need foods that last long, firestarter,and a comfort room(maybe outside) and water supply. Idk if you need a bunker cause you might get stuck.
I am going for a year long hibernation to gather me some energy for WW3 in my home; my semester result is on the way.
Buy a piece of land in a scarcely inhabited area and build a small house there.
I will surely be at the right side of Him that made the earth and heaven before the world war.

It is so simple! you do not think about it. It will not happen. If there is a war, it will be nuclear and you will not escape in any way

I live in Europe and i am convinced that a world war will happen within the next 30 years, probably with nuclear weapons. There will be no internet, food, electricity, water available. Banks are closed so i can't get my money. No fuel in fuelstations so i can't use my car. No meds available everything is plundered in pharmacy's. Stores and wallmarts are plundered as well so no food.
What do i need to do to survive?

You need to watch Doomsday Preppers if you want to know what things to prepare. I really learn a lot in this TV show in terms of survival techniques. This will surely enlighten you that you many things to prepare in terms of Worldwide Calamity or destruction.
