I do not only want ico's to continue I want them to grow even more. I have observed that people that have no knowledge about business or crypto are losing their money and going away and that contributes to the professionalization of the market

And why do you want to stop the ICO? After all, if you stop the ICO, then a huge number of projects, simply can not realize themselves, and after all the ideas of projects are very, very interesting, so I do not see the point in stopping this process.

It is not necessary to stop those process, as far as there are lots of people, who decide on their own wether to invest or not.
Investments are always more risky than keeping money in the bottle under tour bed(although it is true only to some extant)

Why would you want to stop ICOs?! There are so many great ideas being brought to the blockchain - industry applicable ideas which enhance security and investor confidence in a product, or simply provide a way of managing the checks and balances of a regulated industry.

Sure, there are some rubbish ICOs - ignore them and focus on those that will enhance our daily lives in some way.

What do you mean OP by stop? as in banning this ICOs? only government can impose such actions and only on those ICO that are created in their territorial jurisdiction, so i think this will keep on continue as long as there is no strict regulation regarding on these matter all over the world.

ICO now is more regulated than before. most of these are now success and scams is nowhere now and i hope this will continue.
Advertisement now is better than before and the people into cryptocurrency is getting bigger in numbers,day by day.
what i hate is the FORK and some scam airdrops.

There isn't a way to stop ICO's but if you don't like them, just don't participate in any. It won't affect you at all if there are ICO's popping up daily, just ignore it and concentrate on the projects you are currently invested in. ICO's aren't for everyone.

whats your concern about this?are you affected if they waste time and money to advertise?its their prerogative so i see no reason why should we bother to stop the ico,and besides we also have the rights to choose if we will invest or not,or participate in campaigns or not.if its not our concern maybe we should avoid giving a problem ourselves.

And ico are unstoppable because this is the BREAD AND BUTTER of almost 1/3 of th community or maybe much more..i am participating in ico,and investing at the same time making good income on those,though sometimes fails lol

Yes ICO appears every day and most of them are not of high quality. But we can not stop the appearance of these projects. It would be like just the fight with the wind) We can only choose good projects and support them. But in order to find a good project you have to make a very time-consuming research.

How is it possible to stop people learning from failure? that is impossible. they're getting excited about how to build a true system by learning from their failures

ICO is really a good investment most of the time, if an ICO fail it's because their project is not that appealing to investor or they lack marketing strategies which is somehow have a great impact on an ICO's success. ICO is just like doing business in real life, not every people or group of people who put capitalzation and established a company/business always succeed.

That's normal, 90% of all startup also fail, ICOs are no different, but obviously the scam chances are higher and you need todo your research before throwing money.

I don't think all ICO's are bad so I disagree with your statement.

The only way I can see them stopping is self regulation from the crypto community. If people stop investing into them, they will cease to exist as there is no benefit for them to launch their ICO.

I agree that many ICO failed because of lack of marketing and lack of innovation on their projects. Some ICO are just after the money of investors and Scam the many and left the project behind. But there are some legit ICO that has a good innovation and will probably boom in the future, Just be keen enough to choose the ICO that you want to invest.

Yes, in Croatia we for example have a problem with writing good crowdsourcing projects. Oh yes, there are many. However, they are mostly not of any substantial quality and rarely receive some funds. Maybe we could say that we still don't have to many new technology adoptive investors, or on the other hand that we are scam proof.

Same is with ICO, it is very indicative that there is almost none existing that originate from my country.

Writing a good project is not an easy task. Recognising one also. However, at least it can be a good litmus paper for filtering scams. At least a good written project shows that the developer, even if scammer, is not at least looking for easy money and has invested some effort.
