keep yourself busy and go cold turkey. its the hardest way but it works for sure, and if your motivation is strong enough you shuld not relapse after enduring the cold turkey down.

Try using tobacco chewing gum. They can make you smokers less initially ...... can reduce the use of cigarettes by 60/70% in one day. After 10 days the rest is up to you .... you can do it.............good luck

I find it hard to stop smoking if someone has become a heavy smoker. It all depends on a strong intention of yourself to stop smoking totally. The essence of intention is firmness and commitment in self-control. Strengthen your soul, strengthen your heart, remove all the worries because it will stop smoking. There is nothing to worry about, you will not die because you do not smoke and you also will not korengan for not smoking.
My suggestion you should:
Remember your health
Remember the growth of your children
Remember your wife's kitchen needs
Remember the welfare of your family
Remember everything is fun when you quit smoking.
Do not forget to pray, thankful that you are still healthy and do not wait when you are convicted of diseases caused by cigarettes.

I am not a smoke master in the planet. I didn't became addicted in smoking. I didn't burst my mouth for cigarettes. I am desiring to smoke sometimes back in my teen age life but it couldn't accept with my body. To stop smoking is in the middle of self war or you are in the presence of decision making. The battle is in the mind and in environment. Even you are decided to stop smoking you will back again and again. It is normal. There's no one who change then he do it in a perfect way. To stop smoking is gradual. It takes time to over come or to win the fight against your satisfactory.

I think Smoking is a very bad habit. Causes a variety of diseases, cancer.  Quit Smoking is not difficult, the main thing is to want it. Think about your health . After all, nothing is more important than health. The best way to do sports, to be always busy. Also now there are many different ways medicines , lollipops.

stop smoking is very difficult to do but do not rule out as long as you really believe and strengthen the will, I suggest the pattern of thinking that you do not think smoking and forget what the name of cigarettes, then try to avoid together, I am sure you are trying to really will definitely get results,

Well as a former smoker the best way to do to quit smoking is..
Discipline your self.
Always remember that taking cigarette is one of the major cause of numerous illness such as heart disease,kidney failure and worst lung cancer .

I think it's back to his own people. if you have a strong intention to quit smoking then any temptation and temptation of any kind will not work for us. so I think if you want to quit smoking you have to have a strong determination

First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?



I'm not smoker,but I helped my friend stop smoking entirely. Just treat it like a real addiction. Not with kind of addiction you can mess with. Addiction to cigarets is as bad as guy who is on herion. Slowly reduce doses,smoke less and less,and try to do fist excercises. That is really important.

Smoking habits that are hard to leave for heavy smokers. I also experienced it, but with a strong determination to instill an intention in myself to quit smoking, gradually the cigarette stopped also though with heavy and it took a persistent struggle to leave it.

Smoking is a habit of someone who is quite difficult to leave it. Tips for quitting smoking,
1. replace the cigarette with candy
2. think about the effects of the dangers of smoking
3. look for other busyness
I think that way that bit by bit will stop even though all need process.

The way or situation my father stopped  smoking was
when he had a heart attack, the doctor said he had to quit
drinking and most especially smoking. It seem to me, it's more like
a pilgrimage when you try to stop smoking. It's self control, you need to
have a drive in order to stay on track and fend off temptations to get back in.
It's a major awareness, you can enjoy life without smoking, you need to learn how to
manage yourself above things that might trigger you to smoke. It's a deep commitment to quit
smoking and still live and see what life has to offer.

Come to think it that your health is at risk,i suggest to do some research on the internet on how to quit smoking and the harmful effects of a smoker.Actually its not only you is the victim of ciggarretes but those people around you,it was called sidestream smoke,i always remember that since it was being taught in my elementary grade.These people around you or behind you were the one so much affected as the polluted air that comes from your mouth will go to different direction.Think twice my friend you are hitting two birds in one stone,yourself and the reciever of the smoke.Best example is if you are already a father or having family they are the one who are most affected on your vices.
