If you want to stop smoking you can stop it. I smoke back then but my wife tell me to try to stop smoking. From that moment i slowly stop smoking. I don't stop it right away. Each day i reduce it. Until the day comes that i totally stop it. Its not hard to stop if you have the will to do it.

That kind of addiction is hard to stop especially that you feel relaxed everytime you smoke but for in order to stop smoking you need to discipline yourself and try to put in mind to stop or if you someone gives you a cigarette don't look at it or don't accept it.

To stop smoking is not an easy task. It takes a lot of self control to quit this die hard habit. Stop thinking of smoking by making yourself fully occupied with activities or hang out with non-smoking friends in a non-smoking environment. It wont be easy for your body and mind for the first few months and gets easier after the initial stage.

First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?


Quitting smoking is not easy, but its worth it! First step just think positive. I know a part of you does not want to stop smoking, you need to know how to quit smoking naturally because smoking can harm your health and also your life.

The first step always the harder stop thinking about it and just do it.Think positively,Exercise daily,Eat healthy, work hard .

dont quit smoking. just smoke more
once you smoke too much that you dont find anything interesting more you quit yourself

Based on my experience, I stop smoking since I graduated college. At first, it’s difficult because I’m used to it, it’s my way of putting myself calm. But suddenly I want to stop, because I realize that smoking is putting my health in danger. That’s why I put in my mind that if really want to stop smoking, I need to discipline myself. I reduce slowly taking cigarettes then my appetite also decreasing. Until I see myself not taking any cigarettes, I just continue it until now.

I smoked a lot before but I was able to stop it. I don't smoke for almost 7 years now and still counting. I understand that smoking is really hard to stop but you must endure.

First, gradually stopping it will really helps. Never fall to temptation of you really wanted to stop.

Rejection is really hard, but try to use alternative like candies if you are urging to smoke.

Lastly for me, this is the most effective way to stop. Think of yourself and your family, think of the consequences if you get sick and those who breath the smoke. You only need discipline and inspiration to completely stop your addiction.

Give positive stimulus to yourself for not having cigarette for a time, like a day.
And punish yourself for having a cigarette, a no TV or locking yourself in an empty room for an hour.

Smoking is a habit. And if you really want to quit smoking then firstly you must make your mind fully set that you can do it. I agree that it's not easy to give up a habit that was made from years. But you can gradually stop it.

smoking is now a burning question in the world.by smoking anyone can get sick easily.I am not addicted to smoking yet.to stop smoking first one have to  know about the harmful effect of smoking.secondly he has to try himself to get escape from smoking gradually.by doing so he can stop smoking a bit.

We all know the health risks of smoking but that doesn't make it easier to kick the habit. To successfully stop smoking, you will need not only to change your behavior and cope with nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Set the quit date and tell your family and friends that you are planning to quit because you will need their moral support and encouragement. Throw away all your cigarettes, lighters, ashtrays and matches. Quitting can be really tough but with the right game plan, you can break the addiction.

in my opinion to quit smoking multiply sports less leisure time that makes smoking desire decreases by coming to area not smoking

I think the best way to stop smoking is to try to minimize smoking day by day. If you are consuming one pack every 3 days. Try to consume 1 pack every week. That is the doctor's advice. Minimize smoking until you stop relying on it. You can also try smoking alternatives, like VAPE. I was able to stop smoking because of that. I'm sure a lot of you were saying that its also the same as smoking. But the question is how to stop smoking, so there's your answer. Quit smoking, start vaping.

Stop smoking is not easy, especially for you already smoking over the years ( addict ). But if you have a strong determined to stop smoking, no said the impossible.

In this case, it is not easy to stop the smocking specially to those people whose addicted on it, the best way to stop this kind of issue is give them a high tax in cigarettes, in that way we will less the buyers of cigarettes at the same time we will control the volume of it.
