the forum post is from January 2017, i have taken me one pk from the middle of the list.
And it worked,
i have now the money, and i donate 75% of this.
Thank you for your replies.

Best Regards!

EDIT: I donate 50% , i take me 25% and i will give the owner 25% back!

Some guy finds $40 000 on the Internet. Then proceeds to ask a bunch of forum schmucks whether he should take the money or not.

where is the proof os this address that contain 40 btc? or this is just account farming with useless topic?

if you really found it and you don't know to who belong than it's your i guess, if you can identify the owner it's better to give him the money back

you need to post more info so we can help you identifying the original owner if possible

Hi,
i have found a wallet with 40 BTC.
The last transaction was 2011.
Can i take the money?
Or is it not legal?
Please Help!

Best Regards!
Can you take the money? Yes, Is it legal? NO, that is not your money and you must not take it, money can be tempting but we must do the right thing even if another person will steal that money.

maybe you ought to leave alone it is possible that the people who actually come. may leave about 1 year, 2 years or more, but when the money is not reduced or increased, I would probably take it. well, better taken, because it is quite a lot bitcoin.

you can show us some proof if its real, and if it was then i think its yours considering you have private key, you may also want to donate some who are in needs of money.

I believe he had found an account that looks frozen but he hasnt the keys to acess it, soo it might be trying to hack and find the code, but as i know its a huge wall and the sucess is almost impossible, milions of combinatios possible to a single password, image if he put secondary and adress and 2fa, i dont know if at 2011 blockchain has those all already.

Proof please.  Smiley

But anyway, if what you are sharing is true, you can keep it, I think it's yours already since you have the keys. Do you have any plan on giving it back to the rightful owner? because I think you can't find them easily.  Smiley

No proof, he is just a troll, another troller claimed 100 btc in page 3, hilarious, they are day dreaming, because people won't publish a private key to any forum.

OP your story is a fairy tale. I don't believe a bit of it but you can get Morris Chestnut or Brad Pitt to act it out on Hollywood.

I don't even believe anything about this. You found 40btc that's equivalent to $40000 and you are still waiting for confirmation whether to take it or not. I know if you really have the control, you won't be asking us same question because even me with all the months I have been here I have not gather 1 btc not to talk of 40 at that. I guess you are just trying to pull our legs.

Well there's no big deal here, you should go ahead and use it if it's usable-having the private keys. But if it can't be transferred then report it or try to find the owner so that you stand a chance for some tips if he so find you worthy. About it being morally right to spend or transfer I think it is so far as you've got full access to it.

It's yours... keep it and use it in anyway you want...  Smiley

As long as there is no one who can prove that it is their property then you can keep it... Use it wisely and make your life prosper... Just think of it as a gift from someone who wants to change your life...  Smiley

If the information provided by the op I true, then he is one among the luckiest on using the particular forum mentioned by him. As he has got the private key no need to think of anything just can make it his property. In the past more and more users losses their bitcoins this way without thinking the future. Likewise it too be someone's lost bitcoin.

Found it you sure? How did you even found it?
Ive been in bitcoin crypto currency for quite a while but not even once that i found a wallet that has a 40 btc amount in it, must be the greatest day of my life if that would happen to me. But seriously how did you do it? Lol

I think the previous owner of the wallet must have added some second layer of security to it. So im im guessing you cant access it. Usually users in bitcoin wallets use some two factor verification for extra security but if that users didn't do much effort to protect his money then you must be lucky.
