I'm not a big fan of big cap coins like the ones you said but They're good picks in the long run especially if one is hodling for that long. I just focus on getting cheap, undervalued projects and hold till it appreciates. In the near future, I do plan to get in on some of the major projects and adding them to my portfolio. Currently, I'm holding Wanchain, Storm, ETH and Electroneum (Although I'm at a 64% loss on ETN already.)
For a long time I do not hold anything but ETH (as a means of paying those tokens with which I want to speculate for a short time) and I have to hold, sometimes for a long time, those coins I hope to soon.
I am currently holding IPSX, Havven, Hydro and JesusCoin. They seem to be doing well on the market... not yet stable but i believe they will appreciate over a period of time and yield more interest for me.
I'm only holding ETH right now. when the market fell, I got rid of all the coins. and bought ETH after the fall.

i hold GES it a new coin so i have to hold for long time to made my gain the current value is far below 1$ hope it rise soon
I'm holding Ethereum last April 3, 2018.
And the price value was doubled now. I am still holding it, hoping that the coin will eventually continue grow.

I have a coin that holds it for a long time because neither the public ico has always been or how but the wait for almost 1 year is something very troublesome.
I think like everyone, I hold ethereum. Maybe some altcoin as well but often I exchange altcoin one with another altcoin. And maybe some tokens I will consider to enter in my portfolio.

I saw ignis last month and bought it because it was cheap. Actually this time, the increase is more than I expected, but I plan to hold it for longer.

I bought ADA some time ago and maybe I was lucky not to buy altcoin when the price peaked. I plan to hold for a long time. It's still quite far from my target, but it seems to go according to plan.

I have some altcoin among others neo, waves, cardano, etc. I've been holding him for a few months and will keep him at least until next year.
I HODL Minexcoin and Smartcash. They are great POS coin. Minexcoin with minexbank will earn profit 0.27% daily to park the coin. Smart cash will give about 20% profit to hold minimum 1000 coins everymonth. They are great coins adn great project. Other coins is ethereum and doge but they are small amount.
At the moment I have an Ethereum, Bitcoin, Zcash and a few inexpensive tokens. I want to buy a few more coins..
I'm holding the next coins: Elf - Very serious project, with serious investments, HT - Large exchange, with well-known developers.
I am holding both Bitcoin and Ethereum. I believe these two are the most widely used digital currencies in the market today. But I also have keen eye on other altcoins. I will definitely buy other altcoins once I have enough money
