actually This is not a crazy hobby, but you prefer to collect various tokens. I think that's a positive thing and a good way to hold back. sometimes when someone has a lot of tokens, they prefer to sell them immediately. but my advice is you also need to sell while they still have value.

Even though its a wise strategy to hodl your tokens earned from airdrops and bounties. It's wiser to convert them into bitcoin or ethereum and hold. Most of those tokens from ICO's are not good for long term hold because the project development is not certain and others may back up after the money raised is exhausted.
Most of new projects will be death in one year if got no new progress. Because investors doesnt like to wait too long for a new project to developed a new progress. They want to see a ready product and want it to be ready to use. Some projects just cannot make it happen that why most of projects just died in a year.

there is no problem with the hobby you are doing, if I personally have hundreds of tokens then I will keep them until they have a good selling value. who knows in the future or someday your token will be registered and have a high selling value.
maybe not a hobby but selling if there is profit, I am sure you will not keep it continuously in your wallet, because I am sure you get it with hard work,

In my opinion this can only be done by rich people or people who have other income so that if you have tokens that can be sold, it will not interfere or will not immediately sell them because you don't need any more money. But it's also great to see their bitcoin history continue to grow in the future. Maybe it could be like that but there must also be a token that is really dead

Me too, i have lot token that i collect in my etherscan from all the bounty campaign during 2016 - 2018, some of that token doesnt have value anymore from it give it to me until now and now only a few that have value and it can i sell it but i just dont want to sell it hahaha just like you i will sell it if that token price go to the moon and if not it will be my hidden treasure to my son and grandson someday haha

I do have in my ERC20 compatible address, Sometimes I join in bounties ignoring the roadmaps and concept. Just to have them in my wallet gives me a feeling of joy. I've seen a lot of cases from new projects as you said. I also have such a token in my wallet. some from the bounty results, some from buying. and I became a fool when buying tokens that were not developed by the team in the end.
our experience is not much different, right now I have around 130 tokens in my wallet and some of them are worthless and also have a bad priceyes maybe right now we can only hope that the project developer is still continuing the project so that all of our token collections can become valuable collections
