Hey I'm sorry to hear, it's unfortunate but perhaps take it as a lesson learnt and be more aware of the risks involved when investing.

I am also a facing this problem. 60% of my invested money vanished due to this crash!! I think this is a common thing in crypto. Be patience and hold for a long time. You will surely get profit from it.

You have learned goog lesson, never ever invest to any coin which you arent familiar of because it could be the reason why you would lose all of your investments, fomo is a common mistake with the newbies but after this event you should know what to do in the future so that you wont be investing shitcoins, check both technical and funamental analysis so you wont regret investing at the end.

I did the same thing, but honestly, I wouldn't be worried if you just HODL. Our overall market cap is pennies vs traditional stock markets. This thing is only going to continue to grow as the technology gets better and more adoption plays out.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?
Hold ripple and perhaps cardano. Try holding tron till it is about $0,7, then sell the thing. As for ethos - I've never heard of it before, but it's going up now, so just  keep watching it and sell when the price equals the one on which you bought.
If you're just 50% down then a good decision might also be to sell all (well, apart from ripple, I guess) and buy bitcoin instead. Nobody doubts we'll see it $20k, it is only a matter of time. I am sure that if you can wait for 5 months or so you'll be able to get the money back.

Do not be so panic,411k is handsome amount you should have invested in ETH,LTC,XRP,ADA,Monero these are good coins and have great tendency to grow,so you have lost half of your investment,My advise to you is that hold your investment is dip period is about to go,a good time is coming ahead, when prices will go up.In this way you would be able to recover your lost to an extent.

You have learned your lessons, and im sure you will be more aware of these shitcoins and you will be more business minded from now on.You need to do a lot of research before investing with these shitcoins because most of these coins doesnt have any good development and you can find these informations thru researching check if the coin's development is active,if not do not ever try to invest so you can avoid big losses.

The main thing is not to give up, you can climb $ 100 and understand the topic of investment well. You can believe that losing money teaches you how to approach the issues of your investments correctly. I wish you to find such a project.  Cool

"invested" in XRP you mean you gambled, whats it backed by?
What about the out of control coin emission rate the criminals at Ripple Inc produced?

The supply disparity is getting worse with every passing day as can be seen on last years data. Falling further and further behind until the planed collapse to massively damage crypto.

Normally you shouldn't have been greedy and shouldn't have invested more than you afford to lose.
And normally you should hold, since until selling those alts you didn't lose anything yet.
Normally Bitcoin and many altcoins will recover or even surpass the December 2017 values.

But that's "normally". We don't have a crystal ball, we don't know the future and we can't tell you what to do with your money. It's solely your decision.

You shouldnt be buying anything without any proper knowledge, because our market is full of shitty scam coins,a lot of people are getting fomo because of the pumps and dumps but that is normal when you are into something new.Im sure right now you would be more vigillant with your investment and you are going to research a lot before buying anything because you have lose money with your carelessness.

The way i see it, there is really nothing to regret, we learn through mistakes and we are told experience is the best teacher, the beans is spilled and there's nothing you can do. what you can do however use to use the other remaining half to get what you lost and more . i hope youv learned to invest only what you can lose, but i like your risk taking, you missed but next time you wont

You have learned you experience, you are graduated now from being a noob.Atleast your mistakes is still recoverable, start reading a lot of whitepapers of the top coins the coin marketcap so you will be able to know which coins would give you a lot of money in the future.FOMO is a common mistake of all the new folks here, you can still recover from your losses you must take researching seriously so you will prevent this thing to happen.
