What are the reasons you stopped trading?

I think you should get back out there and keep the coins flowing.

I agree with the comment about the blocks halving..... I would hold onto some until then.

Whatever you decide to do... best of luck
He stopped trading because he lost money, he deposited 47 BTC and withdrew 40 BTC in two years so not only he did not won money, he lost money and lost his time as well, he could have been better off just holding and using his time to earn more bitcoin.

So how do you feel now is a good time for trading? Or a good time has already passed. And in general, how to start trading? Where should I start?

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.
You can always apply money to money, and of course it is necessary to allocate more than 2 hours of free time to trade, more and the result will be different. The main thing that went with a plus, it's an achievement.

maybe you may start your own business in your country. Or just hold your bitcoin for appreciation of value. Or look for something else that you may earn Bitcoin aside from trading. Or donate it to the people who are in need. If you are fond of teaching other people about trading Bitcoin, might as well consider that.
Hold your bitcoin will better than try trading it when you have not knowledge and experience to trading this market. Cryptocurrency market also like Forex or Stock markets, not easy to make money at here. Keep your money in Bitcoin never make you have loss after long time Wink
I have traded both and I can even tell you that with good precaution, so far so good, crypto market though volatile is still easy to trade and make good profit. You can even hold for long with crypto as long as you know you are not holding the wrong coin, with forex, if you lose you have lost and no 2 ways about it. However like you said, if you have no idea about trading it is best not to bother at all than to try your luck.

Well i don't if here is the right place to say this. But my first job was trading.
It all started when i finished high school, my father gave me some books, money. And show what was the stock market.
Shares, options and then index market.

As above said, it's addictive. Where on earth you can make x2 your payroll in one hour?
as well, i not quite rich yet. Seems i still a lot of study to do.
This road took me away from trading platforms not only because the lack of money, but i saw my flaws wasn't only because of the poor strategy, more introspect matter, Pacience, Consistence are major keys to achieve success in this line of work. Even my graduation course and specialization, were picked to give me tools thought would be necessary to become a better trader. After all, if i could do backtesting x100 times faster who knows how many strategies can we come up with?
Day Trading, Swing Trading, Long-Term investment. All of them requires a lot of mental, spiritual and material work to achieve your goals.

Do what your guts says but remember to watch yourself as a third person too. We all have flaws.
Wish you good luck and Healthy Days, the rest we train to achieve.

When you want to earn definitely you will not stop trading. I want to earn, so i will continue what i am doing and i am not yet earning here. Just recently started here so how can i stop myself doing the things that i love to do.
Never ever stop doing the things that you live to do. Those things make the future. If you are not getting much then that doesn’t mean that you should quit it. In fact you must do it as much as you can. Rather than stop working just keep working and wait for some good earning.

I already several times left trading. But then I returned again, because I understood that another way of earning would not give me as much profit as trade. Therefore, I calm my nerves and again go to trade.
It is good with the decisions you are making. However you should find ways to learn how you can manage yourself to make good decisions. The best way to do that is to find resources most especially on youtube.

Learn from some of the things they have to say and learn from the ways they trade to help you always make good decisions. Moreover, if you are going to be using youtube, check comments first before doing so cause some videos can be trashy.

With learning, you have your nerves more calm and won't end up making the same mistakes you have made in the past.
I don't think there is any need to learn a lot of Google articles or watch dozens of YouTube videos in order to become successful in trading. It is not very difficult.

A trader must choose the right asset like bitcoin is best for this. Then he must trust his asset. Patience is the most essential skill for a trader and key to the success. During dip, he must simply buy more and sell out when prices increase to a targeted value.

I also started learning trading but not watching YouTube videos and reading related topic. I dig my hands dirty and try to learn it by myself. I must admit that its not gonna be easy in the beginning. You may even incurred losses, but I just took it as a lesson learned on my end. And I might say that I in a way become successful and get huge profit from trading. However, I already quit trading not because I don't like it, its very addictive, but I have shifted priorities and just focus on my offline business. I can't devote much time of trading, and we all know that in order to be successful you have not invest not only money but time as well. So I just hold on my coins and just regularly checked the market price.

This is not a good idea, giving up means you lose. there is still plenty of time to learn.
you must have a teacher or mentor to let you understand the safe trading style.  Cool

Well, in principle, this is everyone's business, when to start and when to finish, but I think you have not reached the maximum goals, which were put in the beginning, although in principle the profit is nothing, if you translate into real money, enough for a bit))).
I think it is okay for you to give up on this time. It is not something to get worried about that you haven’t reached the maximum possible level in terms of money but whatever has been achieved is quite much to start some sort of business and mount it up more and more increasing your bank roll steadily. there are a very few people who get higher and higher achieving the most out of their hard work .

The question is: can anyone stop trading?? It is so addictive... But seriously, I think that if someone has a lot of money and does not know what to do with it, instead of trading he should just HODL. Pick the best projects, screen the team members, their goals, activity on social media and just hodl for some time. From my perspective, this is the best strategy when it comes to crypto. I guess technical traders will feel more secure with Forex.

You will never stop trading if you tried it once Grin Even if you lose all your money, you will return sooner or later.

Trading is not an easy business, it is as difficult as passing through the eyes of a niddle but you have to understand the market, it is not a gamble. Research is very important and listening to news. Patience is key

Trade is always at risk, in some cases great. Before you start trading, you must have at least basic knowledge. I recommend that you read a lot when trading with cryptos.
Its good to read before stepping in the real trading but its much better to experience the basic. I believe that experience will have a better thing along the way of learning instead of bringing only the knowledge in trading.
most of the people get into trading with bigger investment and they just invest in it without doing any experience and get loss and then they quit and said that trading is not profitable.
you first have to get experience with low invest and not be in hurry to get good profit. experience came with time and after at least 2 to 3 month you will be good enough to analyse the good coins to invest.

This is why they #1 rule in trading is never, ever invest more than you are willing to lose. If you invest more than you are willing to lose then you are taking a huge gamble.

Maybe it is right to stop trading a bit in some times, i read a thread in another forum of people saying that they were in a loss of almost 70%, that is insane, i would quit in i were in their shoes. Imagine investing 1 btc and then have only 0.30, what a big loss, i wouldn't know what to do in that situation. Anyway, i really think that some altcoins are going to go up again, so it is a good time to buy

That depends because not all altcoins go back and rise again in the other hand if you are not a researcher or just invest in any altcoins in the market it is most likely what to happen to lose big amounts of money.
Trading isn't suitable with someone who doesn't have brave and skills. By the way you have to learn how to get valuable informations that can raise your balance. Most people lost in trading cause they're panic, don't follow the rules and doesn't have a good source of informations. If you have enough these features above, keep trading you will have profits for sure.

Trading is a full time job and you really need to burn mid night oil in order to be successful in trading. Trading is something that can make you rich within seconds but for that you really need to work damn hard in order to understand the basic rules and regulations of the trading. Trading can’t be learning just by watching videos or listening to veterans, it demands practice.

I agree on that, videos could not help you by means of just doing a self study towards trading techniques. Everything is a matter of decision making which you are going to deal on and the actual scenario is on a quick trades basis, which you think profitable then you sell it immediately without any hesitations. Full time jobs in trading might be so stressful sometimes, but as you are working too hard the results can be surprising anytime if you focus on it as you learn smoothly and knowledge will come your way.
