Well, with the wild crypto market, anything can happen and ii wont be a surprise, ETH coin with unfulfilled potential, it has taken a huge dip, but it will recover with time. it wont be a surprise if it hits 2k.
Wow, I don't know if that will happen this year. I think the fall in the price of tokens + eth is so much bigger than the fall in bitcoin right now. So many fledgling companies that are going through a rough patch as a result of the bubble and so many ICOs that aren't getting any investors due to fear of regulations. I think that there is a possibility that eth will hit $2k, however I don't think it will happen until well known publicly traded managed funds start investing in ICOs on behalf of small investors. But by then the landscape of the entire crypto world will be different.

I will agree with you! I saw many prognoses and so many good traders agree that in final of 2018 price will increase to pic price near 2500$. still waiting)))
The wheel is turning. Who knows? But I think it was way too high given that there are too many altcoins available. Even bitcoin was affected anf faiked to reach claims of around 20,000$ to 30,000$. Well just wait and see.

I think you are right about the $2k peak. But based on all Predicting websites and analyst across the globe that i have come across, the margin of ETH at the end of this year is between $1500 to $2300.
Why not? As for me - it's more than possible becase proof of stake will be real in 2018 - price will go to the moon.
I dont think so,if bitcoin's value will still be manipulated the whole market wont improve,causing these altcoins to bleed more losing their values exponentially,bearish market is still in presense that is why it hard to predict what will happen in the near future.It might be pumped or it might be dumped but knows what will happen ?
It might not happen because bitcoin's value still in crisis,we dont see any good improvements yet but who knows what will happen in the next few months? if bitcoin is going to get another ATH surely ethereum will reach its peak again as well as these shitcoins in the market because bitcoin dictates everything in the market.
I do think that the winter Ethereum will cost at least $3000-4000

I think ethereum has enough potential and popularity to reach $2000 and more in this year. Because , I think is has proved itself, reached good successes and high prices, and I expect that it wil show itself again.
well, the year has not been fair on ETH, and it has taken a considerable blow when it comes to valuation, ETH is agood coin but i doubt if it will hit 2k this year
I sincerely hope that this will happen, because most of my deposit consists of Etherium. I hope that closer to the autumn the price of ETH will overcome the bar in 1000 $.

I would like to know what is the basis of your prediction? Did you do any kind of research or study graphs? How did you even come up with this number.
At maximum, ETH would be able to go till 800$ this year. It is not easy for a famous coin to do 4x. There is a lot of resistance that every coin faces after it reaches a particular range. Don't just assume things.

In my opinion we do not know what is price will be in end of this year. We can not specify prices.
We can only wait for real price
What do you think are factors associated with the price surge at end of a year? Do you think that because prices surged at the end of last year, they might do again this year? Or is something happening at the end of the year that cause people to spend?

Not going to happen as far as i can see there will be less chance to have this,because bitcoin's value has been dumped too hard and it could be the reason why most of these altcoins wont recover this year,we should have a lot of things to consider,the marketcap,bitcoin's dominance and the price movemens if bitcoin really affects most of the altcoins.

It is unlikely that ether can go above 1200 again in the short term, but I agree that in crypto one week is like a year in the stock markets. My prediction is a rise, but not that big.
This would be possible if the regulations from these ICOs are going to stopped,because these regulations really affecting the ethereum's market! So i wont be expecting too much with ethereum if these regulations and bans will be more strict in then next few months,we are still in bearish movements so we cant really predict if this is going to happen or not.
