There are some coins that you can hold for a long time while others too, you can't hold for a long time. You don't have to make your mind to hold coins all the time, because you might ran at a huge loss.

I think it's a difficult decision especially with altcoins and they have been losing much of it this year because it's losing the bitcoin price even though their losses are huge but they still hope to recover their losses holding their altcoins has this chance especially the bitcoin price rises so many investors are buying altcoins that are longterm and potentially so that somehow they marecover their losses to the holders of altcoins do not be afraid because if you know only longterm and you have the potential to hold altcoins I'm sure that it will return to its usual price.

I think many people have experienced similar feelings. There will always be those who sell their altcoins at a loss, these people never had a strategy and knowledge, they just came to earn, and as soon as the price fell in a panic began to sell, so as not to go bankrupt. This is determined by the correct tactic if there are coins from the top 20 in you. But if these are the coins that you buy at the ICO there may be problems.

I feel the same way too, hodler of cardano since late 2017, did not sell it on 0.03$ a piece, won't sell it at any other price then...
Well here is a good news for you. The price of cardano is increase right now because of the bull market, it's your chance to sell your coins or hold more to get more value. The price is around $0.075588 a piece right now. I actually also never sell my alts and keep holding until now.

Patience is an important virtue in cryptocurtency. Many alt have fallen below their cost or ico price many feeble hands habe sold at loss, instead of selling at a loss its better you hold and wait for it to rise. As long as the team are constantly developing their platform the price will surely rise again
I agree that patience is important but our patience should depend on the market situation, depending on the support of the community for the altcoin we hold, and sometimes selling in loss can be a good option to avoid deeper losses. Because as the situation you mentioned, when the price of altcoin has dropped below the ICO price, even if that team works better, the chances of returning are very low, almost just falling deeper over time, continuing to be patient and holding only makes us waste our resources, selling soon will reduce losses and open up other opportunities for us

Cardano is one of the alts that can be held for long-term to medium-term. Because it is backed up by advanced Haskell algorithms and it can emerge as a solution to many of the deficiencies that the top cryptocurrencies face. But the same can't be said about the vast majority of the other alts. In most of the cases, once they crash in the market, then they never makes a recovery. This has happened with a lot of the coins that I had in my portfolio. I can give you many examples, like GBYTE, TRC, QRK, IXC.etc.

I also never sold my coins when in losses. I better keep the coins in my wallet for a long time, until the price is fully recovered. I am sure that the movement of crypto currencies is a dynamic movement so that one day the coins we save can be very useful and have value. If I choose to sell in losses it means that we have given up the crypto currency movement. Even though businesses in crypto currencies need a patient soul.

Hold altcoins and tokens really need patience. I mean, with bitcoin sometime we know when it will pumped because always happen. But for altcoin or tokens maybe if developer update their progress, there will be any movement in price of it.
not only altcoins but bitcoin also , both of them needs patience so that you can be able to sell your coins at a maximum value . bitcoins pump is unpredicatable as well as on altcoins though your right that the pump of bitcoin can seem to happen most of the times while in the case of altcoins , thier pump can only occur rarely . idk if devs update can make a coin move but there are still alot of factor that makes a coin pump .

It takes more than patience to hold coins and tokens till the next bull run because no one actually knows when the bullrun will return and this is why many people lose hope and sell off even at loss ,I don't tend to sell off at loss too even when I needed money so badly I still make sure I sell only when there is profit

Your point have some holes in it. What if your heard the coin is being delisted from several exchanges what will be your reaction? Yes some may hold and the coin reverses but we have also seen project gone after facing such. It is not easy to HODL , I wish you good luck

To my apperception you are equitable. Alternate cryptocurrecnies shouldn't be oversubscribed in the erroneous age and with erroneous cost. Thither are as well even profits from them.

It challenges me to prove the contrary but I would add one more goodness to that, namely, diversity. Have at least dozen high-tech alts in your portfolio. Most of them might fail but there is a good chance that one or two may bring a fortune. I am deliberately avoiding talking about my bag. Everyone has a right to look around for a better alt.

Altcoins cannot be holding for a long time, you need to watch for them and reinvest into most popular alts, now I’m in a similar situation, my crypto portfolio has lost more than 90% of the cost and I don’t want to sell altcoins today for nothing, but I got my experience and will be very careful in the future. I understand you very well, but for you to hold then you need all the patience you can lay your hands on. As long as you don't sell, you can never completely be in a loss,also note that there are coins not worth holding, so before you make any investment, do a thorough research about the coin if it will be worth holding because if you hold a good coin, in the future you will be happy you did.
