Ordinary bowling from the Dutch bowlers. They were all over the pitch and hadn't executed their plan well. The first semi-final between India and New Zealand will be a thriller; if India gets the wickets of Ravindra and Williamson in the first powerplay, things will get difficult for New Zealand. On the other hand, if India loses Sharma and Kohli early in the innings, they might get into trouble as well. Both teams are in great touch and well-balanced. Fingers crossed for a thriller.

I think the team management did not want to disturb the team combination and rhythm of the players right before the semi-final.

Yesterday, Shami didnt get a single wicket, looking at Dutch side I was looking for another fiver, dutches played well tho specially in the start of their inning against pacers, then spinners came and ruined their fun.

Don’t compare Netherlands with England dude. Pitch, Stadium and playing conditions also affect a lot in the game’s result. Yesterday the match was at Bengaluru, which is a batting pitch, hence it helped the batter to score the runs. But in case of England’s match, the pitch wasn’t so batting friendly. So it’s really a waste of time if we compare on the basis of runs scored.

We need to appreciate the Indian Top order, especially KL Rahul, for his quick 100, they did good while batting first, and many Indian fans were expecting for them to cross 400 runs. Now this form is required for the Semi Final against NZ. So let’s hope for the best.

Yes ,you are right . Netherland played excellent in this tournament and they gave tough time to big teams . Netherland took win against South Africa . South Africa is top class team which gave a target s of 400+ runs in this team . Netherland won the match against South Africa and that was an excellent victory. Netherland cricket is improving and coming to the front, Netherland team should work on their weaknesses .

I knew India will win this match but I did not expect this type of match ,they fought well till at the end .Indian team already qualified for Semi final and it will play against New Zealand that is best team that played last World Cup final against England but lose the World cup due to luck.New Zealand always reached in semi final or final . I want ,New Zealand should win this World Cup because India also have won the World Cups . Netherlands played very well against India. Despite batting against such a big target, they are performing quite decently. However, the Netherlands had no chance of winning. Even then they managed to narrow the margin of defeat. Netherlands collected 227 runs in 45 overs losing 8 wickets. I would say it will be a big achievement for Netherlands if they don't lose all the wickets. They scored 227 runs against such a strong bowling line-up of India. I thought the team would lose all wickets before 150. Because we saw the Sri Lankan team batting against India with a target of 358 runs, Sri Lanka finished their innings for just 55 runs. Compared to Sri Lanka's performance, the Netherlands boys are playing brilliantly today.

Yes, I agree with this proposal and I think this structure should be followed in all ICC tournaments. Instead of the first team in the pool standing playing with the fourth team, better for the first and second teams to play with each other and be given another chance to qualify for the finals for the team that lost this initial match.

Here in this World Cup, the goal was only to reach the top 4 teams and another target was to make it up to 3rd position, so the team could avoid the 1st position team in the semi-finals. You may finish 2nd or 3rd, but there was no incentive to push hard to move to 2nd spot.

Had it been the qualifiers round, Both Australia and South Africa would be willing to end up 2nd, so that can get two chances in the playoffs. This would have added more competition and more trill in the tournament.
