I did not expect much from Pakistan in this World Cup. Because we saw the performance of the team's batsmen in the Asia Cup. Although there are many world class batsmen, the performance of each batsman is very erratic. Except Shardul Takur Cheesy

He got into the playing XI as third seamer, but he only bowled 2 overs in the entire inning and I expected Shami to play in that place especially today because he got great records there while playing for Gujarat in IPL but India went to the extra batting option which never required and I would still rate Ashwin as better batsman compared to Takur in that position.

This was not about Pakistan losing wickets quickly in the middle order. If you analyze, the top 4 batsmen were struggling to score freely and they were just going at almost 5 runs per over and saving their wickets. They approach this match with a defensive approach and any team who plays with this approach will usually lose the match.

Talking about the Indian bowling, they really bowled well and kept the Pakistan batsmen under check and balance. I would not like to discuss about the Indian batting because any team can chase the 190 odd runs on these batting pitches and the Indian batting did it in style.

Definitely, I also did not enjoy this much as much as I thought and also it was not thrilling match anymore when I saw batting performence of Pakistan batters. In starting of this match, Abdullah Shafique and Imam ul Haq both performance was decent from other players like Saud Shakeel, Shadab Kahn, Iftikhar Ahmed and next few more players. All these batsman got out below 10 score. If Babar Azam was not complete his half century and Muhammad Rizwan did not score 49, entire team of Pakistan would be finished below 150 scores only in today's match. India performance in all matches of this tournament and in previous contest Asia cup show tremendous performance in every match. Today, they beat second strong team in cricket world first one was Australia. Best wishes India for getting this gorgeous victory and next target is Bangladesh team and there is a very big chance that India will defeat Bangladesh convincingly.

But later on when they lost a wicket their game was a little different, but again the Indian batsmen started the game brilliantly. Rohit Sharma had a great run, and he was unlucky to get out and remained unbeaten from the century, scoring 86 runs and falling short of the century by just a few runs. Had Pakistan batted first and managed to score 350 plus in Ahmedabad, this match between India and Pakistan would have been much more exciting, but Pakistan batted first and scored only 191 runs. With a capital of 191 runs, there is nothing to fight against a batting lineup like India's. India won their first two matches one-sided so we thought the third match might be tough for India but Pakistan proved us wrong. Pakistan's performance in this match showed that they are not equal to India. The last few shows have no winning record against India. If there is no excitement in India Pakistan match then people will lose interest in India Pakistan match.

Babar Azam Mohammad Rezwan these two batsmen managed to score almost 100 runs for the team but the remaining eight batsmen together scored only 90 runs for the team which is really disappointing.
