Shubman Gill is back in the squad that plays against Pakistan. Ishan Kishan has been dropped, while all other players are same from the last match. I am suprised to see Shiraj still being part of the team today. Speculation were that he would be dropped and Shami would be taken in. Getting fit and game ready in such a short time is an achievement for Shubman Gill. Let's see how he plays today when he comes to bat for India.

Australia looked off-colour in the last two games. No strategy from the Australian side thus far; hopefully, we will see some wow cricket in the upcoming AUS matches. They have lost 4 consecutive matches in the World Cup for the first time in the last 48 years.  

Pitches for this World Cup are more batting-friendly, and the way this World Cup is going, many people will stop following it because it is getting boring with every passing match. Small teams like the AFG or BAN have no chance of winning in these conditions. We might not see an upset in this World Cup (except for the Pakistan vs Afghanistan match in Chennai -chance of a potential upset-). We are into the 12th match of the tournament and haven't seen a thriller yet.
I think players' IPL experience will come in handy when performing in these conditions.  

The worrisome part is even BIG-3 matches turning into one sided affairs and the way Australia played its 2 matches, it feels like they are just surrendering. Their planning is in shambles, the middle order is not clicking, the player getting dropped after just 1 match and there is virtually no strategy as far as the spin department goes.

On the other hand teams like NZ and SA upping their game. Kiwis in particular were in bad shape before the WC.   

Yes.. the last 1-2 entries for the semi-final stage will be decided solely on the basis of NRR. That said, I am still disturbed by the fact that we are yet to get a close match in this world cup so far. Look at the results till now:

11. NZ vs BAN - NZ by 8 wickets (7.1 overs)

Out of these 11 matches, only the match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan can be considered as even remotely close.

Today is the biggest and amazing match which is Pakistan vs India. This match is more important than a single match of cricket and the World Cup. Yes, I say that this match is more important than a World Cup because when every tournament starts so there will be a ceremony but in this World Cup, we didn’t see any ceremony because of some issues so BCCI decided to do a ceremony before the match of Pakistan vs India.

The best for the Pakistan team is that Shaheen Shah Afridi recovered from their injury and now he is totally fit. Maybe this is the last match of Pakistan vs India of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kholi, and Ravindra Jadeja because these are all players who take retirement after this World Cup, If the Pakistan team and Indian team don’t meet in the final or Semi-Final so this is last Pakistan vs India match of these players.

The twelfth match of the World Cup will be played today at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan will be start at 2 PM IST. Both teams have been undefeated in the tournament, it is very hard to predict which team will win today. The betting odds favour India.

In the press conference before the start of the match against Bangladesh, the New Zealand coach said that Bangladesh is not a team to win the World Cup, Bangladesh is not among the six to seven teams that have won the World Cup. He has definitely said the right thing, Bangladesh's performance like this cannot be expected at least in a big event like the World Cup tournament. Looking at the batting of Bangladesh, it seems Bangladesh's innings starts with the bat of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim and they seem to be the opening pair because the four who bat first cannot make only 50 rupees by batting four. While the opening pair of other teams are performing well, Bangladesh's top order failed. With such a failed team, the World Cup cannot be won anyway.

Each team is scheduled to play 9 matches in group matches so it's a long tournament.

New Zealand started well but they can't be complacent from here, it applies to everyone because 3-4 losses in the group can dent their chances as i believe knockout entries will come down heavily on NRR. 

Actually it’s not the biggest rivalry game between the team India and Pakistan.Only the social media and the government portrait in this way to their politics.Indian government mostly try to feel the North India to feel unsecured and get the vote based on the politics.It’s true the Pakistan was involved in the attack to India.But why they attacking India as compared to the other neighbouring countries.If the game is portrait in this way,it will leads to hatred feeling among the people of both the countries.

Till 2021 Pakistan had lost 12 world cup odi/t20 matches to india in a row which is just an insane stat!

Pakistan are  2.78 odds currently and if they are to win, alot of it will depend on their captain and #1 ODI batsman Babar azam,

It might be a sin for me to say this as an indian, but i got a feeling that pakistan might win this ,indian team may crumble under the insane pressure of this match.

We will still win the cup so lets just give this one to our neighbours 

Like the previous matches, New Zealand won today's match quite easily. The team won by dominating all three matches. And in every single match we have seen great performances from the New Zealand batsmen. The team is in excellent form. Bangladesh scored only 246 runs in just 42.5 overs. The pitch was spin friendly. Spinners have had a good advantage on this pitch in all the previous matches. But even today the spin bowlers of Bangladesh cannot do well. New Zealand are now at the top of the points table after winning three matches. And their net run rate is 1.6. South Africa's net run rate is the highest at 2.3. However, there is still a long journey ahead. But I don't think New Zealand will have any problem to qualify for the semi-finals. Because every batsman in the squad is in form now.

Firstly, I feeling very sad for you because today you lost your bet and you chose wrong team for betting. In this match, there was clear difference between both teams New Zealand and Bangladesh who will win this match and you also know that New Zealand is a strong team they also defeated other strong team England in their first match. Today New Zealand won this match by huge margin of wickets and balls which are left for played in the field. D.Comway effort in this match was not excellent as compared to other previous matches but I like D.Mitchell and K.Williomso performance in this match. I also disappointed for K.Williomson because he tried due to injury hurt if they played at the end of match then he achieved brilliant century.

They are literally banging the door for the top 4 position and with this three wins their remaining job gets easier.

Kane Williamson back to form straight away which is good thing, but he is still not recovered from the injury 100% that is why he got retired hurt, hope we can see him in full action in the coming matches.

Tomorrow we have the big match India vs Pak, even though Pakistan has not been at their best still it will be high octane game whenever they are against India hope we can see some good cricket tomorrow.

NewZealand won by 8 wickets Chase down target in 49th overs 248/2 , NewZealand Captain Kane Williamson retired hurt after scoring 78(107). and Daryl Mitchell unbeaten 82-run knock have helped New Zealand to seal a comfortable victory against Bangladesh in Chennai. the efforts of the fielders is responsible for defeat. But if NewZealand are dreaming to qualify for the semis, catches must be taken there shouldn't be any excuses whatsoever. You are absolutely right it's funny but true that Bangladesh play very good cricket with teams like Ireland and Zimbabwe.Bangladesh played good cricket with Afghanistan in the first stage, but after Afghanistan improved day by day, now Bangladesh is constantly playing against them. But now Bangladesh is playing badly with Afghanistan and in the last few series, Bangladesh has lost badly with Afghanistan.Where cricket boards and players improve in all countries of the world, there is no improvement in the players of Bangladesh and no one can play well except for a handful of players.If you look at this tournament, you will understand very well that in this tournament, New Zealand has formed a very strong team, most of their players have performed well.How can you imagine a fighting score with New Zealand if Bangladesh score less than 300 runs.Even if Bangladesh had scored 300 runs, New Zealand would have easily won the match because they have the ability to score 300 runs.Basically the pitches in this tournament are batting pitches.Other teams almost scored 300 plus runs in the match while all the wickets fell for Bangladesh players to score 200 runs.The team that Bangladesh has formed in this tournament may win two to three matches if they win too much, out of which they have won one match and only one is left.

In fact, considering the performance, the biggest thing is that the New Zealand team from Bangladesh is an impossibly good team and they are ahead in terms of experience. As such, I think it is natural that they will defeat Bangladesh.

They once again proved that New Zealand's batting order is very strong in this World Cup. The team lost the wicket of their very important batsman Rachin Ravindra for just 12 runs. But after that, the team did not make any mistakes. Conway and Williamson batted very responsibly. Conway returned to the dressing room with 45 runs. New Zealand batsmen are batting very responsibly. Although the pitch is spin friendly, Bangladesh's experienced spinners are not able to take advantage.

Collected 206 runs after losing 2 wickets in 39 overs. New Zealand need only 40 runs off 66 balls. They should not face any problem to win this match. The match is completely under the control of New Zealand.

The score of New Zealand is very good. We can expect that New Zealand can win this match. New Zealand's target is less and their current score is over the initial required run rate.

If we are starting the discussion about players, If New Zealand wins so I think Kane Williams is the man of the match because he does score good runs for his team. He is on the strike and I want to see the century by Kane Williamson. He is too close to a century. New Zealand made a distance of twenty balls, which means New Zealand needs 63 runs in 83 balls. If we only talk about Kane Williamson,it won't be fair with other players too because other players are also playing equally well. Daryl Mitchell made a half-century in 45 balls. That is very good batting by New Zealand.

The Bangladesh team scored only 245 runs in the game between Bangladesh and New Zealand. The target of 246 runs has been given to New Zealand and to fulfill this target the New Zealand team is playing exceptionally well. The way New Zealand played in the beginning today looked really disappointing, but later on they improved their game and increased the run rate. They don't have to put too much pressure on themselves to win today and easily win the match against Bangladesh. So far, since New Zealand's great batsmen Daryl Mitchell and Kane Williamson are in the field, I think they will take the game and eventually leave the field with a win. And I can definitely make a correct prediction today that New Zealand will win the match comfortably. With this match, New Zealand's three matches will end and if they win today's match, they will have a great three match win in ICC. New Zealand team is going to win against Bangladesh soon, they need only 77 runs from 94 balls to complete the target, which is very easy for New Zealand.

No dew tonight but also no assistance for spin (surprisingly) and no luck for Bangbros, at least 3 half chances with the catching. Things could have been much better for Bangladesh if they had taken those catches. To be fair to Bongs, every catch was a tough one and that's why sometimes luck matters.

For now, they ran out of carrots, first with the bat and now with the ball. Williamson is back to his usual business after a long injury break.
