I wonder how big they as in the Australian would be able to achieve with the net run rate after this match. The odds justify the Australian performance when they got the Srilnakan side all out for 209 runs, which I think is bad as a target to chase for the opponent team. I won't say Srilanka batted badly but I would say they were far below the performance of the Netherlands team. Srilanka never showed the instinct that they would try to win the match. As expected Srilanka with their current attitude won't last long as a team in the 50 0ver format. They will become obsolete like the West Indies team did when they failed to qualify.
Sri Lanka only managed 209 on the board in a game where both sides are looking for their first win in the world cup. It may seem an easy task for Australia from historical point of view, but their recent form suggests that we could be in for a thriller. Australia's batting has performed very poorly recently and almost everyone looks as if they are out of form.

It was evident how low the Srilankan cricket has gone, they are in such bad shape that a small team like the Netherlands can beat them on the 21st of October.
