It may seem an easy task for Australia from historical point of view, but their recent form suggests that we could be in for a thriller. Australia's batting has performed very poorly recently and almost everyone looks as if they are out of form.

Now it looks like Sri Lanka will only be able to make it to 250 and that won't be enough to defend against Aussies that have already lost 2 games.

I doubt there will be another upset today like yesterday. I was surprised that it started raining today. This rain might change the way the pitch has reacted to spin bowling. For now the pace bowlers can utilize the moisture to their benefit.

What a performance by the Afghanistan Bowlers. Really impressed all the cricket fans with the impressive bowling styles. England batsmen tried their best, but the Afghan bowlers did wonders. We should also praise the captain of Afghanistan for the impressive bowling rotations, that entangled the English batsmen. Now we can say Afghanistan is really levelling up the game. Let’s see if Afghanistan carries the same form or not.
England's strong batting line-up was battered by the maelstrom of Rashid Khan and Mujibur Rahman. England lost one wicket after another and finally they lost against Afghanistan by a huge margin of 69 runs. Harry Brook was steady at one end but no batsman could support him. If they could have built a good partnership then England could have won this match because they had ten overs to spare and with wickets they could have easily taken this match out. England have lost two points in the first three matches and gained a point in one match which leaves them 5th in the table with two points. First of all, Ben Stokes is not even included in the playing XI. As far as I know, he is suffering from a hip injury and is unlikely to be fit for the next 2-3 matches. So the option of replacing Jos Buttler with Stokes is not possible. England doesn't look like they are in great form at the moment. In the first match, they suffered a massive defeat against New Zealand. Their only win till now came against the weak Bangladeshi side. Still there are 6 matches in the group phase remaining for them, but I think they are already out of the knockout phase.

In today's match between England and Afghanistan team, Afghanistan team's performance was not very good. However, Afghanistan team has given a target of 284 runs. As Afghanistan's performance in the first two matches was very poor, it was an unthinkable result for Afghanistan to win against a strong opponent like England. Afghanistan played really well in today's match. They deserve to win this match. At the same time, I was very disappointed with England's performance. The pitch was spin friendly. I don't know why England keep Moeen Ali in the squad. England needed Moeen Ali in this match. Moeen Ali is an excellent spin bowler. Adil Rashid bowled well. Had Moeen Ali been in the squad, the Afghanistan batsmen would have been under more pressure. England should form the squad considering the pitch conditions.
