It is a good strategy bythe English team. Delhi pitch is batter friendly and England has a bad net run rate on the points table. If they want to improve it they need to chase the target. Afghanistan doesn't have a good bowling attack, whereas England has a good batting attack. This is the eight times that India has defeated Pakistan in the World Cup. I never expected Pakistan to lose all their wickets in just a few overs. They once had lost only 2 wickets with 155 runs on the scoreboard. As soon as Babar Azam got out everything went haywire for Pakistan.
Indian bowling was exceptionally good again today. The bowlers were able to do what the captain wanted them to. Shiraj was hit so badly in his previous overs. He got into the playing XI as third seamer, but he only bowled 2 overs in the entire inning and I expected Shami to play in that place especially today because he got great records there while playing for Gujarat in IPL but India went to the extra batting option which never required and I would still rate Ashwin as better batsman compared to Takur in that position.
