I think that it is important to research what the total bonus amount was during the ICO. If there was a high bonus that mean that people will dump their coins on the exchange. In such situation you can choose to buy later on an exchange.

For me Buy Token when ico is live since ico stage is more profitable than when the token is listed already.because it will affect the the when the trading is on going. So i recommended to buy tokens when ico is ongoing.
It seems to me that now it is better just to buy on the stock exchange, because there is a chance that after the ICO project will not fall on a good stock exchange and its price will be lower than at ICO.

Sometimes it is good to invest in an ICO because sometimes the ICO price is lower than the market exchange. But there are crypto coins also that is lower price than the ICO price. Actually it just depends on the coins market flow.

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

I think buying in ico is better than buying the coin in exchange because in ico there are some bonuses or rewards depending on the amount of coin you buy and most of the coins in ico has a low value so you can save a lot of money.

Well, I probably would prefer ICO, because you can not always buy a token at a good price on the exchange. I would advise you to invest in a promising EON ICO.

essentially in case you buy coin from an ICO or pre-ICO stage is a lot greater less expensive than shopping for it on an change which could mean the ICO is executed. but it's far very volatile to shop for coins for the duration of the ICO duration because there may be no guarantee but that the coin you will purchase can be a success or might be indexed in a few exchange web sites. There are some cash so one can flop and there are a few that won't, although the undertaking appears legit there are scam ICO's too.

Most of the ICO experienced the incident. the token price drops shortly after the listing on the first exchange. This is all because of the bounty participants who rush to sell their tokens after their reward is distributed. And this happens simultaneously. That's why the token price becomes a dump. Some token price can rise up to reach ico price, or even the price can exceed the ICO. However, some of them also remain in the zone below ICO prices.

Buying in ICO is good because yo will get more token because the bonus they give than to exchange you get a fix price. But sometimes people choose to buy in exchange because they sure that they can trade the token in exchanges anytime if the will be good.
The risk of buying when in exchange may be smaller because you will be spared from the project scam but the possibility of big
profits will be smaller, because when you buy while still ICO will be cheaper than when you buy when it was listed on the exchange.

I have learned this year that it's best, safer to wait until the coin goes on the exchange. The ICO creators still benefit greatly. Don't trust ICOs.

That depend the ICO, is the ICO is good or not, you must research well. If the ICO is good and later at the exchange maybe good, that's better to buy the coin when it in the ICO price. But as far as i know, not so good buy the coin when in the ICO's price, because a lot coins when it's at market exchane very low more then in ICO. And sometimes ICO do activity hit-run, not responsible at their project.

This is really a basic question, and can easily be answered by research alone. If you believe in the value of a coin or project then of course by all means pour your investment into it. Just make damn sure that you did the necessary research and you can live knowing that it is your choice to either profit or lose all your money.

Buying from an ICO or exchange could be profitable or not, it depends on the coin.

Some would stay low for months and some projects would just shoot up in price upon hitting the exchanges because when a project has a really big potential and some investors cannot invest because they are from a country restricted in joining ICOs then they would buy the coin when it is on exchanges that's why price would go high in just a few days or week

these bonuses and discount also effect exchange price bcoz any investor will take all such things in mind before investing . it is not necessary that exchange price will be same of ico price if bonus rate is more in ICO . exchange price will be adjusted as per bonus rate . also it depend on project to project . a good project will never provide more bonus to early investors , only little bit bonus is there . while some projects to make fool buyers can give more bonus so that people buy in FOMO and in greed of bonus .

indeed at this time a lot of coins fall when in exchange but not all coins because some can survive with prices above ico price even though the market is experiencing a mess and for that if you are smart in choosing a coin of course you will know should buy ico or buy in market

Now a hard time in ICO and the last good projects can be picked up on the exchange at a price equal to or greater than the price of ICO. However, if it is possible to go on a pre-sale with a good bonus to a good project, then without hesitation it is necessary to go

It all depends on the market cycles. When the market is up - it is more profitable to try to enter an ICO and to get certain bonuses for early birds. When the market is down - most coins and tokens upon listing on exchanges are traded far below their original ICO price, which makes it more profitable to pick them up on exchanges

It's tempting to buy in at the presale stage if you can, or the public ICO with a smaller discount. However, it is safer to buy on the exchanges because the project will have progressed a lot more by then. I think it depends on the ambitions of the project, some might not get listed for a long time so you have to hold for a while.

At the moment we are in a downward trend, so it is not the best time to join ICOs. Just look at the Ethereum price. Although I would reccommed to join good rated ICOs in the early stages, where there are high bonus payments
