I think you should buy after the exchange, so it is safer for you, if you buy in ico at the time you can not be sure that the coin can be traded in large trading places.
I agree with you, besides now there are a lot of coins on the exchanges that are very worthy to buy. And the price for which is even lower than at the time of ICO.
but not all ico companies show such results. If the project is really promising, then after the completion of the ico Company, coins may start to raise their price. an example can lead PundiX, which immediately began to increase in price to 30% after some time.

To buy or not to buy - that is the question ;)

I have some experience in ICO. As my company are providers for ICO services. I shall say that the price of new token/coin is allways first drops down. because different reasons, but usually that is because bounty participants are just trying to sell all the tokens in few first days.

Therefore some ICOs skip sale stage, but in this case it is wrong to name them ICO, it is better to name this just crypto project

ICO or buy later on exchange - it depends on ICO - if you cant participate in very high project, you can try to pick up on exchanges, if will drop in price.

I'd rather buy on the exchange than I lose my money buying in ICO, buy in ICO is cheap and profitable if ICO is not a scam but if ICO is a scam you can cry haha.

I stopped investing in ICO as soon as the market began to fall. Since that moment, such investments have become several times riskier. I prefer to buy promising altcoins now.

As far as I observed, tokens that will be listed in the exchange seems to be lower than ICO price. I don't know what makes it decrease but if I were to decide I definitely choose to buy it in the exchange because we can now monitor its value and by the time the price has a sudden drop then it is the perfect time to buy.

The decision is always yours whether you are going to invest in ICO and get more extra bonuses of a certain token but not so sure if it will have the same price when it hits exchanges or you will just later on exchange when you already know the real price of the token. I've been into ICO before and i am absolutely disappointed when the token value is below ICO price when it hits the market.

That depends on project i think, if its really good you can buy on exchange only on x2-x3, so in that way ICO is better, but exchange is much more safe.

Now a lot of all kinds of platforms and projects that want to raise money for their idea and it's definitely not worth investing in all these ideas because it's not clear what will happen next with your money.

You will earn more if you participate in the ICO pre-sale, because you will be able to buy tokens up to 20 - 50% cheaper and then sell them after the ICO.

Regarding good ICOs, has anyone heard about menlo.one? They're an ICO review platform and marketplace launching their token sale this July. Do you think this project has potential? Their white papers seems interesting to me https://www.menlo.one/

Maybe this is so, but clearly not all of the ICO is getting such a profit and I'm not talking about the risks of losing all of my investments because of the swindlers. As for me at the exchange to buy better.

Investing in ICOs is still the way to maximize profits now. During the ICOs, his token prices are very stable. Only when it waits for success and when it is sold on the Exchange will there be a substantial price change! I recommend investing in ICO projects as little as possible, and now the ICO's success rate is low and scary!

I think that we have profit to buy on ICO time, because there any bonus that will be given for us, but, most of ICO are dump after list on exchanger, sometime it will dump to 50%, it is really risky when you try to invest on ICO project before launch.

Perceiving events in the future and beyond

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

Buying token while they are still in ICO entitles you to a bonus depending on their whitepaper. Most of this bonuses are easily a profit just by looking at it. Though some are just waiting for the ICO to finish and once they distribute its bounty then take they advantage of the dump. Always be mindful in reading the whitepaper and follow certain Telegram groups to aid you; is it better to buy in ICO or after ICO.

In most cases it is better to buy after ico, but it is not better to buy those projects after they have given their profit to investors and there is a chance that they will start to leave now. In such cases it is better not to buy at all.

Some coins wont still have a value even if the ico had already finished . there are also coins that do already have a value but their project may not seem to be more promising . so i guess that will still be dependable at all.

I somehow agree with your suggestion. I dont also recomend buying at all because it is tough to invest on an ico. You have only a small chance that your capital will have a high return..

So i guess it is better to invest on some stable coins such as btc ,eth , ripple or any other known alts because you are pretty sure that your capital can somehow grow in the near future.

Most token price after ico is dump, depend on that true token value and the price will recover fast or slow. But mostly price will drop 50% than ico price.
mostly is due to hunters and other dumping here and there or maybe dev decided to make some additional money by pumping in some reserve which severely affect the market
