Individuals are free to develop any coin they wish to develop at any time, but the thing is that, after people have had the knowledge of what is going on around cryptocurrency, and how so many people are taking advantage of the fact that people are interested in investing in cryptocurrency to start scamming people, why do they have to still follow some of these projects without first verifying them first.

What will help us more and help those gullible investors who are still falling victim of scam is if we really have government regulate the cryptocurrency so that there will be strict policy guarding the release of projects and also would be able to protect investors from the hands of scams but I really don’t know if government are really interested in giving us regulation now.

Google search will do but first, those early coins that has been established like namecoin is likely to be dead very soon. There's still a few volume of it but it is not a surprise if this will eventually die. The market cap still makes it alive because of it's $6M but looking on its volume, very frustrating.

if the coin is dead already there is no way that it can still survive unless there are bag holders that can manipulate the price and bought those sell orders to increase the price before selling it . That is the only way you can earn profit in dead coin.

It is better if you will just buy a coin that have potential than to buy a worthless coin that have low volume. You will experience loss because its value is already dead and the chance of it to increase its value is now very low.

Abandoned cryptocurrency menas which is the worthless coin in the marketplace. How you can make money from valueless coin? Because it’s not listed any exchanges that menas there are no way to sell it. But you can make sell bid from decentralised exchange likes forkdelta but no one will interest to buy this shit coin. If it's a legit project and team is still alive and trying to more developed for the future than this coin will demand in the exchanges.

There are coins left by the developer for personal reasons that others developer can catch and take care of it. A project with a strong community supporters i see many discussion like this before just changing owner ship of the coins.
But that coin still have a value not a dead one like OP said.

Tons of dead coins are on the internet, if you need the list just use google search and no one has a solution for dead coins, they aren't coming back to life so its better to ignore or abandoned then and move on with your life

The coin that died because of the development could not make the coin still have confidence in the market. and to make the coins come back to life will be very difficult because from the level of trust they have lost a lot of trust from the community and I think to make a coin that dies alive again will be difficult to happen

Too many cryptocurrency coins are already dead, even before they get listed on coinmarketcap.
Some dead crypto can be exchanged on dex, but the price is usually very low.
You cannot make big money from it, just forget it.

There's nothing we can do if the project is being abandoned or being completely forgotten, you need to move on and forget about those projects, if you lose your money, try not to repeat the same mistake, avoid projects that don't have any real usage as it will be prone being abandoned by the team who already get what they've need from the investors.

I have never seen anybody discussing about dead coins. I have a ton of dead coins in my ERC20 wallet earned from bounties.
Also I had some bitconnect coins, I wonder which universe they are in now. I have a few coins worth a lot less in other wallets.
They will probably just be lying around resting in peace for eternity Grin

If you want to see some dead cryptos, take a look at the coins that yobit gives away for free. Most of them can't be withdrawn because the wallets are in perpetual maintenance mode and there probably aren't anyone mining them anymore so they can't be sent. Their price gives them away, as they trade for a single satoshi but have no buy orders in sight. Dead as dead comes.
