The only idea that I can give you is to look for coins that you know has a very great project and product, but went dead as a result of lack of quality push by the developers, the project might look dead, but the developers are still alive on it and doing the best they can do, but the time these developers becomes more active is when bitcoin starts going sideways, and the moment altcoins starts to pick, every of those developers that you see are dead becomes very active.What are the possibilities for crypto currencies that almost can't be exchanged any more?

Those developers would also want to push their project to the influx of investors that will be making lots of altcoins purchase during that time, and you know how investors get to know about some project, through advert, so they will push some adverts and probably get enough investors that will push it up, but we need to be careful, because the increase would not last.

Most of these cryptocurrencies died out when they ran out of funds due to the marathon Ethereum slump in price in 2018, I Do not see any revival for these projects because buying them off is as expensive as creating your brand new Erc20 token needed to tokenise your startup
You could gt them listed on some decentralized exchanges and start some activities on the the coin. Get others interested in reviving the project. I wouldn't suggest you do that anyway as other bag holder could dump their worthless tokens on you.
There are many dead coins on my Ethereum wallet especially, the ones I got from airdrops. Some include PENT, XTM, BTCR, etc. All these shitcoins are now worthless but I still hope someday the team comes up with strategies to continue with project development.
What possibly can a dead project or cryptocurrency offer? Something that is dead can't offer anything, so don't place your hope high or believe that one day they will come back. There are many good cryptocurrencies in the market that needs attention not some dead coins whose team are no where to be found.
You have taken me down memory lane and it's really funny how we invested in projects that only took off with generated funds thus dieing off. Furthermore, I don't think there is any idea that can be implemented that will help these dead projects to generate money ever in this space.
Abandoned projects can lived for few minutes if there's one whale that bought a lot of it. But the hardest part is when they are gone to that coin already, after bumping that coin it's almost impossible to sell because of having no volume because they have sold already what they have bought.

Thinking about this dead projects will only bring back painful memories. However, since they are dead I don't think there is anything that can bring them back not even hype. With that being said, I don't think there is a way to make money off them, it's better to move on and forget them.
There are many dead cryptocurrencies which are dead and as it stands they are totally dead and can't be exchanged ever again because if the team comes back now, no one will listen to them. Furthermore, there is no hope of making money from them because no one can afford to waste his funds on something that is dead.

until now crypto can still be traded. so you don't need to worry too much.
and in my opinion, there are many reading and educational resources on all these forum boards for your knowledge. look for it so that you have basic knowledge of crypto especially trading.

It just struck me that the cycle just keeps repeating in the market or maybe it will just stop if we reach the global mainstream adoption. I remember in 2016 that those altcoins that are made in 2015 are still alive and has a good trading volume but when the year 2017 entered, they are completely forgotten and all I see in the hype zone are new coins. I guess that is how it is and the only thing anyone can do to those abandoned coins is to wait for the bull run and bet it can still spike or move on and deal with losses.

there are so many garbage coins nowadays, they don't have buyers, and the price is below the standard of sales. to retrieve tokens that do not have value, a new concept is needed to generate interest, such as implementing an attractive security and investment system.
Nowadays it is very difficult for garbage coins to get buyers on the market, because the days the competition gets tougher and the new concept of the new project is always born, so the junk coins will die automatically because the coin enthusiasts will never be there any time.
