There are IEOs that doesnt needing our verification and it is the IEOs that I looking for. I actually participated in IEOs that doesnt requiring kyc and for me it is not a hassle and many more people can participate in IEOs.
if you participate in IEO that has a method like that then I think you will experience a very high risk because when you participate in IEO held at large and well-known exchange places will always need IEO to be able to participate in IEO that is taking place at large exchange places.

I am not also into giving out my private and personal details. Although,  i have done it in the past, but i am not ready to continue risking my personal data for any monetary gain, which is most times not guaranteed. This is why if i cannot participate in the IEO, then i should be able to trade when it is listed.

KYC is a must for all investors or else SEC will penalized such exchange, anything can happen like money laundering or scam related activities, its not safe for you either because once SEC bounce on such exchange its the end
True, KYC is clearly needed in an exchange, because it can also make it easier for someone to make a complaint to the exchange when there are problems that occur accidentally.

Absolutely right because it will put you on more risk if you participate in an IEO without doing any KYC, given that there are some restricted countries to join in any token sale and if i'm correct most of the exchange now is SEC-compliant so if they are not following the regulation then the exchange itself and the project is at risk.

I think it is okay that Exchanges collect KYC of IEO participants to be compliant with regulations. As far as I know, all of the top Exchanges requires IEO participants to pass KYC procedure.

I think that IEO projects that do not require KYC are often scam projects and not many people are interested in so if you invest, the risk will be great. I don't encourage you to participate in these IEO projects because the opportunity to earn almost zero profit and it is best to choose IEO always requires KYC users because those projects will often be highly appreciated. I recommend that you only participate in exchanges like Huobi, Okex, Gate, Kucoin because these are the 4 trades I often use for profit and of course will require KYC participants.

I like the cryptocurrency due to the privacy, i do not like to send my IDs to anyone even if it is popular and trusted websites, requesting KYC to participate in IEO is against privacy why i have to send my ID to participate in IEO!!
Most of exchanges launched their IEO platform required KYC.
Is there any exchanges run IEO and do not required KYC.

You should understand that investing in any project is an option not an obligation. If you hate the idea of IEO platforms asking you for your personal details, why worry yourself to invest in such projects? In this crypto ecosystem, you have the option to do or not do anything that you feel is not right to you.  If you are interested in IEOs that do not require KYC, spend time to look for them yourself. There are a lot of IEO projects that do not require KYC to participate in...

KYC is indeed needed for account verification in the exchange. And if you want to participate in IEO, the account must first verify. And I have never done IEO in exchange without requiring KYC. Binance, Probit, Bittrex all three exchanges all require KYC for those of you who want to participate in IEO.
KYC is indeed needed in verifying the authenticity of users, so if investors want to invest in IEO then they must do KYC first. I think if you do a kyc on a large exchange of data that you enter remains safe, because the level of trust in a exchanger that has a good rating is certainly trustworthy

Some exchange sites are not following such rules caused by these exchange sites are not placed on US territory. It's not their responsibility to follow SEC guidance and regulation.
You should analyze the problem before you will try to say anything about that dude. As you can see that about the fact that people seem lazy to read the whole thread like you.
Be careful about that.

Yep, even on second-tier exchanges, such as Latoken, you still need to go through KYC to participate in IEO.
Unfortunately, without this in any way, all exchanges seek to introduce this

I do not know the purpose of kyc for us. Because we are the buyer and we cannot cheat on it. They should pass the KYC on us so that we can know who they are, because we entrust our hard-earned money to them without knowing if their token is worth it and we have the profit to take it.
Investor never cheat for investing with IEO coin different with bounty participants using multi account for joining bounty campaign, but submit KYC for IEO exchange is very important to know which one investor come from, still have country not available for investing with  IEO and ICO like United State and China citizen, give for IEO exchange to know which one not allowed to buy IEO coin on exchange market.

Then don't bother to invest in IEO because to participate you have to drop your ID for KYC verification, and its not advisable to join IEO projects that did not ask for investors IEO, its simply a red flag

It seems nothing! But if you really want to take part in IEO without having to verify KYC, you can try it by participating in consortium (entrust funds to trusted people). This method is usually used by investors with small capital and investors who are concerned with privacy like you. Good luck  Wink

if you want to buy IEO maybe you can use an exchange other than Binance, Bittrex or Kucoin
Other than binance, Kucoin, and Bittrex, so do you mean it's better to choose IEO in a small exchange?
I think if you take IEO in a small exchange it will be far more risky, because the project could be scam because usually small exchanges are more concerned with money than investor security
Possibly, that's why most of the success in IEO are coming from big exchanges, small exchanges will have to gain reputation in order to increase their trading volume and even if the project is legit, but people will still look for a decent volume, an IEO coin that is good for day trading hast a better future ahead.
because large exchanges have a high level of popularity, therefore investors choose IEO in them, high exchange confidence makes IEO in them can be seen by investors as well. I think that the level of market popularity can affect the success of existing projects, but investors should still choose potential projects even though the IEO is listed as a big exchange

Look like KAVA is a successful IEO in Binance and can now be traded on the Binance exchange, so it is important that high popularity, investors certainly think if IEO is in a high popularity exchange then he will generate big profits, and have future coins.
