I think that it may happen that bitcoin will disappear and the altcoins will survive
Since Bitcoin is the first crypto currency ever, it seems that when something affect and drops the prices it tends to affect the other crypto currencies as well because if they survive they do it together and when it’s death they are going to do it together as well.
At present, bitcoin is the main and most expensive cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin has problems then the problem is the whole cryptocurrency market. Everything has a very close relationship.
and if he dies, maybe it will only benefit-we can't know for sure. suddenly happens so that all altcoins will become expensive and independent at the expense of their technologies?
they wont die I don't think the altcoins are mainly related to bitcoins beside the fact that most of the altcoins are being traded against bitcoin but of course they effect
There is a chance for altcoins to survive even if bitcoin hypothetically dies. Cryptocurrency is a good technology and I see it in the future
It seems the market knows that this possibility could happen so the market makes ETH the main choice, apparently not, look at ethereum because there are many trades that make ethereum as the primary choice of bitcoin so that ethereum usage keeps increasing.
If bitcoin dies then altcoins will also die. Bitcoin will only die if there are no investors anymore and if it losses its popularity. But i don't think it would happen since nowadays, bitcoin is very in demand and popular.
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins

In my opinion, it'll never happen because all coins have differences and it will depend on the reasons why bitcoin died. If that happened, many people will lose their faith in other cryptos and it will have an impact but an only little. People will be affected if they didn't know how the market works. I believe ETH will take that place of BTC for being the no.1 cryptocurrency. We can't predict the market because everything is possible.
There is nothing eternal in the world. In the future bitcoin will be thrown from the first place more advanced technology. This is normal, there will be something even better.

And one of possible reason is when people change their preference to bitcoin and decided to invest on different altcoins, therefore when this happens altcoins will prosper instead of dying. And i believe this is very possible that one day there may be other altcoin in their that may take the lead position in cryptocurrency.

Definitely yes, most would collapse. Perhaps in this variant can survive BCH or another currency. And then others will be able to adjust to it.
In place of bitcoin will come another crypto currency, and maybe several at once. Altcoins will not go anywhere. Ecosystem crypto currency will exist without bitcoin
I would not want Bitcoin or any other altcoins; especially the promising ones to die. I really hope they all survive for a long long time as I can in them the possibility of being the future we are all looking forward to
Bitcoin system will most certainly not die, but the coin "owning" Bitcoin name, can (and most likely will) change the "ownership"... and most likely scenario for this is the Bitcoin Cash which has very real potential to get the rightful title of Bitcoin.
There are big potential coin like etherium and Neo also can replace bitcoin place so the cryptocurrency will not die if bitcoin dies.

I don't think so, even Bitcoin die for some reason, altcoin may probably continue evolving, since every crypto currencies are having there own special purpose.

i agree altcoin have their own project that they do, and they have their owm purpose and uses of their own coin so altcoin will never die even though bitcoin die. But there must be big market crash if bitcoin actually die it must be has big impact into altcoins. nonetheless, I could simply say, that what we continue witnesses with Bitcoin value and feature, dying of Bitcoin was too far to happen.
If there is an altcoin that has the same level of acceptance and recognition just like bitcoin then it's not a problem if bitcoin dies. That altcoin just need to be established and people need to see it as more usefula and better than btc.
Bitcoin is the beginning of cryptocurrency so I think if it dies (which I highly doubt), all the altcoins would probably die or go very down.
Bitcoin will never die. Maybe it will be regulated. Worst case is Bitcoin goes to $2 and all altcoins will follow. But that does not mean Bitcoin is dead. Everybody will just buy them all up along with all of the altcoins with utility.
