There are many ICO is running at the same time. Maximum ICO can't be success. So, if I invest in any ICO and if they can't be success then what will happen with my money? Will they give me back me my money or not? I am so confused. So, please kindly inform me.

Thank You Everyone.
Every project has a roadmap and soft cap if they didn't reach soft cap they return their money investor but maximum its does not happen. We see many frauds and scam ico never return money their investor if they fail to the soft cap.So when invest ico first get information about team member and their related other project and roadmap

I think we should investigate carefully, now before we want to invest in ICO. I will see if investment funds invest in that project first. Help limit if ICO does not achieve soft-cap

When ICO fails, there are two options for the developer, its either to stop the project permanently or make improvements on the projects and then continue the ICO afterwards. Usually projects with unrealistic goals fails.

To my experience in investing in my invested currency last year that seems not reach their target success after a week's they return my invested money. And I don't think they won't give it back to you unless they are a scammers too they may not really give it back because they also wanted to earn even it's not a good idea.
In the past, projects actually returned money as you said when the project's goal was not completed or failed but at the present time, almost all projects only know that taking other people's money then disappear quickly when the project fails and lacks capital. No intention of scam in the initial moment will also become scammers because everyone recognizes the benefits and values that crypto can achieve in the future, this scam can help them get rich quickly in the future, there is no reason for them to reject this gift, and we are very unfortunate when we become victims.

Automatically if ico fails bounty hunters  not be payed and investors will refund their investment but some times they can't get the amount they invest, as usual some will say that ICO'S are scam if ico fails.
Thats the language of crypto currency community because the team involve in ICOs project have to fulfill the promises made during the time of ICOs period because crypto are based on truth/honesty. But, if ICOs continue to fail then the community snd the crypto investment will totally switch to STOs.

There are two kinds of ICO from my point of view, the first one which has something called as soft cap and a hard cap, and the second with none of these (soft cap and hard cap). It's always best to go with the first one because if you invested in their project and they didn't raise enough money to reach the soft cap, your money will be refunded. The second one, however, is mostly a scam ICO with only one intention: to take your money away as much as they could. They will usually hire a well-known bitcointalk user with a high rank like legendary or senior member and has a too-good-to-be-true promises/benefit if you invested in their project.

I think there would always be a refund for the investors if the ico failed and never reached the soft cap. However in the part of the bounty participants they are not paid for their work since the project fails and not meeting its soft cap. So investors should be aware that they should always join and invest in a project that has the capability of making to success or just to meet the soft cap of their project.

2 cases will happen to you if your investment ICO fails. In case 1 you will receive the full amount of money you invested in it if the project is real. In case 2 you will lose your money permanently if those projects are scam

Definitely is not. Your money when get into their hands, they can use them for any purposes including personal things without involving to develope project that you can't know. That is the current situation of ICO projects now

In this case, you lose your investment. Just tokens will be worthless and the money will go nowhere. So you need to be more careful and careful and do not invest

Usually if an ICO does not meet its target when raising funds at the initial stages then most of the time the ICO team will not take your money because they will pay back exactly what you paid for the coins.

I don't think ICO will die off. New Innovations are coming up everyday and this have to be keep up with. So newer ICO will come up to push this project to the public and make them understand the essence of the project and problem its going to solve.

There are some TEAM who did not get the success on their ICO though they continue the project and burned the unsold tokens.
There are some who gave the money back to investors and continue the project.
There are some who run away with the money of their investors!

Initially,  if ICO fails the best thing to do is to refund the investors there money or probably try some logic to extend the ICO sale period. But, in the crypto space world, I don't think this is possible or I don't think have heard of refund before in crypto.
Many projects are now returning money to their investors. but these are just honest projects. scammers do not return anything

If the people running the ICO are honest which most of them are not, then you can expect your money to be return, they will just delay and will wait for a bear market, before they send that to you but if the team does not then say goodbye to your investment.

ICO's have softcap which is the minimum amount of money they should raise for the project to continue. If they've passed softcap, project will push through , however sometimes they extend the length of ICO to gather more funds. lately, its very difficult to raise funds for most ICOs. If they have not met Softcap, then they should return/ refund your investment.
