Lot of ico fails get scammed and tooking their money away but lot of them also get paid by tokens and there not entering their token in a crypto exchange.

That's correct I also experienced this in every Ico that i've already joined lot of them also refunding investors funds if they don't reach softcap or the minimum amount they need.

There are many ICO is running at the same time. Maximum ICO can't be success. So, if I invest in any ICO and if they can't be success then what will happen with my money? Will they give me back me my money or not? I am so confused. So, please kindly inform me.

Thank You Everyone.

Basically, they will going to give back the funds from the investors especially if they can't be able to reach the soft cap. But I am not so sure on this because sometimes most of the failed ICO's are scammers. They are just stealing the money from the people here.

It happens in different ways, if the project is not fraudulent, it is very likely that all your money will be returned to you!

It depends on the project, but generally every ICO has a Soft Cap - an amount of money in USD or crypto, reaching which on the Token Sale means the project collected enough funds for the further development. If it is not reached, money must be returned to investors.

The most rare phenomenon now is the return of money to investors, due to the shortfall to the soft cap. But basically you just lose all the money invested.

if ico extend the public sale dates you can not take back your money. after extending period still soft cap not reached, the investment amount probably refund.

This is just a good ICO with the fact that you have encountered an error, the setting is ICO when you fail they will have nothing for you, and they can do everything to save their costs for you, or reward for you  Grin

Unfortunately, ICO are not regulated and you could not reclaim your money as a lot of them do not have any company registered under any jurisdiction. However, regulators and many crypto industry leaders are working towards STO (Security Tokens Offering), these security tokens will be regulated, but there will be no escape that every trader will have to undergo extensive KYC to ensure the regulatory compliance of the Security Token exchanges.

If an ICO fail to raise their funds and they are real and committed to its investors then this will happen.

1. there will a public announcement from the team about the failure of the project.
2. they will give back the money or the amount that investors send to them back to its orginal wallet.
3. They will leave the community in well mannered and everyone is served.

bounty participants will not have their payment due to failure of the project.

Most of the ICO's that I participated that doesn't get their success they always announced that their investments will be refunded in a few days. And I think it is necessary to all ICO to return your investments if that happened to their launched projects but also it depends on the ICO you participated most of my investments always refunded last year.
Refunds are things that must be done when an ICO does not achieve success. in some ICOs that I met, only some of them returned funds, and most ICOs that I met were successful. sometimes, when an ICO fails to raise funds at the time limit they set, then the extension of time, and project development will be done to attract investors back.

If the ICO is a real ICO, and not just a scam ICO, then most likely your fund will be refunded. But if the ICO you make an investment on is a scam, then you should say good bye to your money, cause they will not given back your money.
When you invest in their project, They will take your money very quickly. But when their project fails, they will refund your money very time consuming. Sometimes it takes you up to a year to get your money, which is the project that you say is good

I never get back my money after investing into ICO's, like Envion, because till now we don't see any update about the refund or whether they will progress their development to the further level. I have seen many of these projects which they didn't refund to the investors even after they failed to develop the project.

If the ICO is not successful, of course, this will cause anxiety for investors. And in my opinion, this investor's money must be returned, but if they have bad intentions, of course, your money will not be returned. In this case, the acquisition of an ICO project must be careful and selective.

As far as I can see, you understand that ICO is not good with the current situation that there are many trick projects, and most of them are tricked into losing money if they don't make them happy. And I am very funny when it comes to this problem about doing like crazy  Cry

There are many factors that cause ICO to fail. Such as ICO and ICO fraud did not reach Soft Cap sales. This will cause many people to suffer losses because they will not receive any compensation. But for investor money must be returned. But if they are criminals, of course, your money will be lost.

I see the things you say are not wrong, but I want to add an important thing that most ICOs are scams. And I find that failure is sooner or later just because time, ICO has many good ICO but it is not enough  Shocked

If a ICO can not raise their target funds, usually they give back the money to the investor but be careful. There are most projects which scam people's money and do not give back the fund. So, before investing, judge where are you going to invest.

When people chose to join ICO there's rules that will be your rights, meaning if something happen you'll get compensation. Lost money in investment activity is risk and I believe we all know about this, so chose the right ICO depend your knowledge and experience. ICO fails it doesn't mean crypto will die, they will survive with their own ways.

This is something you must first look if they are refunding money and how credible the team to refund your money, there are projects that will tell you that the softcap have not reached and will just resume project in the project when in fact they will just run with your money.
