Although I missed out the ref number in my transfer  Embarrassed , Bitstamp have all my details, Transferwise tx pdf and I'm Bitstamp verified.. It's now 1 week & 2 days waiting for this to be processed.

I won't make the same mistake twice but I suggest Bitstamp make their ref number & the fact it's mandatory much clearer, towards the top of the input screens. Right now it's in a "message" field right at the bottom of the page. Bitstamp: help noobs like me and yourselves a lot of admin hours trawling through the tx lists to match these up. I'm # 78819. At least I have my uncommon name in the tx ref so I should be very easy to find.

My deposit has been confirmed. Eight days have passed since the SEPA transfer. Thank you Bitstamp for solving the issue. Problems and delays can happen everywhere, but I would recommend you improve your communication in case something like this happens again.

Same here. No news so far. SEPA transfer of 150€ on April 10, no money into account so far.

Edit: I got a ticket reply some minutes ago apologizing and stating they are working on the issue. It was a late reply, but giving some feedback to clients is very important in my opinion. I guess I'll just have to wait until the matter is solved, hopefully soon. Will post again when there are any news.


So basically, you overlooked that part of the website that said, you must include the reference number in your SEPA transfer.

Bitstamp obviously have a script that automatically places your funds in your account with the correct reference number. If you don't enter that reference number, you make it incredibly difficult for those guys to find your payment.

Sorry, but no. I included the reference, has I always do, and which is visible in the transfer receipt I sent them. There is a problem with Bitstamp, I don't know what it is, maybe it's due to the high demand in recent times, and people shouldn't pretend everything is fine, when it's clearly not. I honestly hope they solve all these issues, because it's the most user-friendly exchange (within the ones I tried).

The point is, people (forum users) should be informed of these problems before they put their money into Bitstamp, don't you think Nak?

I sent 400EUR at 8.4. to my account 10464. Still I have nothing in my account on Bitstamp! You don´t answer, you don´t take care about ticket, so what do you do to solve the problem?! It is 10 minutes job to look to information I provided and assign money to my account or send it back to me!
So be so kind and explain to me what is going on.

They answered just a few minute ago, so it really seems they are just overload, which is not good, but may happen.

Dear Michal,

The problem was that you transfer did not include your 'Message' number and so it did not get sorted automatically. However we now received the needed information in order for us to be able to locate your transfer. Once we locate and process it and your funds are added to you account you will receive an email notification.

Same as others here except there's been a severe delay and no support response even confirming the problem exists or is being looked into.

The deposit was made on 02 April 2013. I've been waiting for Bitstamp to assign it to my trade account for more than two weeks.
•   I submitted ticket #503 in the first week of April querying it, support has not followed up..
•   I sent a detailed email on 09 April requesting support to follow up, no response from Bitstamp support..
•   I submitted another ticket #2264 on 15 April requesting follow up, no response from Bitstamp even acknowledging the issue..

All other concerns I've had have been well and promptly addressed by Bitstamp, but the silence on this issue is infuriating. For me, it's been a big black stain on the quality of Bitstamp customer support.

Guys I think we should be careful in sending money to Bitstamp as they could also go under as Bitcoin-24 also it will not be wise to keep bitcoins there.

Nejc Kodric and Damijan Merlack are amateur entrepreneur who  are not able to cope with the traffic/demand and things are likely to go pear shaped. I

It is taking lot longer to get money in imagine how long will it take to come out and their support is not great either. The whole purpose dies if you sent a xpress SEPA when price is $60 and they do not credit until the price is $100

As I can't login I cannot raise a support ticket so my only point of contact are [email protected] and [email protected] and I've had no luck with either.  I have emailed both on numerous occasions over the past week but have yet to receive a reply.

Same story as numerous others here...

Made a deposit from TransferWise early on April 11th, to the new bank details and included all the correct info, still no sign and not a word despite opening a ticket 2 days ago. There's an update that's a day or so old on their Facebook page saying they are working through the outstanding withdrawals and deposits, but it's all total bush league to me... for people to be waiting days with no funds, no response, and for people to have to trawl through forums and social networking to even find out what is going on. Gonna go back with LocalBitcoins after this is through with.

Hi all,

Made deposit of 150€ on April, 10, but not yet credited into my account. Submitted a ticket on the 13th (saturday), got this answer:

"We checked your account and your transfer did not arrive yet. SEPA transfers take 1 to 3 business days to be credited to your account. If you should not receive your funds in a timely manner or need any further assistance in the meantime, please feel free to contact us again."

Submitted another ticket 16h ago, with transfer receipt attached, but no answer so far.

Is anybody still in this situation?

I am waiting for my SEAP deposit to appear on my account since April 11th.
Of course, opening a support ticket has been the first thing I did, but they simply don't answer. Total silence from their side.

If they were honest, they would have inform their customers that there are delays involved with the SEPA deposits.
They didn't do anything in this regard. They are just collecting the money silently.

Yes, i had a support ticket opened since April 10th !!

It took a long time to see the deposit confirmed, and the money is finally in my account !!

Hehe you are luckier than me, already bought some yesterday... Some donkeys like me ought to thank Bitstamp for stopping us from buying at 200+ by delaying our account credits lol.
