I will definitely sell, no one knows what will happen tomorrow, most likely such a large growth is caused artificially. It is better to sell.

Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.
With an increase of 200%, I would most likely have sold it, because perpetual growth is not possible and obviously there will be a correction, but in generally I would be happy. There were similar cases.

There's no likely or unlikely for me. If it's a coin I hold, I simply don't sell until it is a time I want to, which is still years from now, and many, many times the price it is now, far above ATH. That's not Bitcoin, in case you're wondering.

If it's a stupid coin I know I'm holding to speculate, then 200% burst will simply trigger my sell order for 50%. 25% is for 400% and the rest I hold for fun.

So the decision is out of my hands, that's called disciplined trading, right?

Each situation is different & there are a lot of factors to consider: What price-point did you buy at? Despite the sudden increase, would you make profit if you sold? What is the reason for the price increase? What was the trade volume & market cap of the coin in question?

Overall though, an increase of 200% in a day would be a strong signal for me to sell & to look at buying back at a lower price point. It's very rare a coin will jump 200% in a day & hold that value without some form of long or short-term pullback.

If it is 200%, I will of course sell all the tokens at once, because such growth, may not be in the future

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
Yeah I will take advantage of the situation to get quick profits to sell half of my investment and hold the half for the next rally. If in next day the price may fall I will try to buy at the bottom to add my investment.

A 40% gain by tomorrow is not bad. I’d sell my initial capital for re-investment in other coins. A 200% overnight gain would make me sell half and buy something nice for myself.  Smiley

Well, that's pretty a skyrocketing value over night and i would probably hold it for another day and see what's going to happen. If it continues to rise even higher, then i'll hold it still but if the price starts to fluctuate after a couple of hours since it hit 200%, then i guess i better sell it already.

Of course, sell it and sell it immediately. Because mainstream coins are unlikely to rise so much, altcoin rises are usually accompanied by selling, and what you have to do is sell them before others.

If your coin has grown so much in a short period, then it is worth selling it, since in 99 percent of cases it is a pump. It is better to sell and wait for the price to drop and buy it again.

If, for instance, my coin’s value increase around 40-80% of its price and it had somehow reached my target, then i would probably hodl it for it might increase a bit higher. However, if its overnight increase is about 90% or more, i will definitely take on the profit and reinvest it to another coin especially if my profit have reached my target value. I will grab tgis opportunity since we can never know, value might drop a few hours after.

The other are hold the coins for surely of the value increase if you sell your coins your limited value you will get and you expect value the 40% is big opportunity to get unexpected value.

if the price goes up by 40 percent, I'll begin to closely monitor the transactions. if the price had risen by 200 percent, I could sell all the coins. and could sell only a part of the coins, and the rest was kept in the future.

i really don't think daytrading is a good idea and generally prefer hodling, but i would try to take advantage of the unexpected situation and just sell. you never know when the coin might drop again so better act quick when possible.

buy when many people think selling and vice versa, if you want to succeed in thinking the opposite of what others think certainly with knowledge and confidence.

I would certainly sell most of these coins. After such a rise, the price will necessarily be adjusted, then it will be possible to buy this coin again. But at the same time you will already be in profit.

In general, it's a good time to sell (if not all, at least a portion of your coins). As the odds are it will
decline by the next day (or sometimes the same day) due to folks taking profits.

Then you can decide to buy back in or not after the fall.

I believe it depends on your financial state. If you in need of money you can sell your coins and continue living your life or sell some of your coins and hold the minor part for the brighter future. I wouldn`t recommend selling top coins if you are not in need for money.

Of course I will sell out to make sure the amount of profit I earned belongs to me. then I will wait  until the price  continues to go  down again and  I will buy again.
