I was dumped my coins too, the reason i work hard to make coins is simple, just because i want to make money from it.The coin that i think good i would hold it longer, otherwise, i would sell it quickly.

I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

Most of the time happened in the coins We received from the bounty campaign always came up listed in the exchange wherein, in the end, it won't take long stable in the market, because many are dumpers. It is still better to trade coins that are always on top in the market unlike altcoins coming from the bounty campaign projects.

If my feel it's time to sell the coins you have I think it is not a problem that is too mean if I sell at a price too low then this will be a problem for the future of coins with a value that is not good and will collapse projects and price true will be destroyed then everything will be really good if the dump continues to occur in the future market of the coins will be destroyed.

If i got coin or token from bounty campaign i will hodl until the coin or token go to the moon if the project fail or not have progress the coin or token that i got will be my collection in the wallet haha
it means that you spend your times and your energy for nothing. maybe this will be okay if you earn just a few tokens/coins from the bounties. but if you earn a lot coins, i think it will be better if you dump it even the price is low.

The only times when I dump my coins are when a project I've foolishly invested in has gone completely silent.

It happened to a few small investments of mine in the masternode coins sector. However, I made other investments in other masternode coins, that also went under, but I made significant profits and exited fast. That kind of offset my losses.

So there you have it, I only sell a coin that's dead weight, when I can offset the loss it has caused through some other asset for equivalent amounts of my capital investment in the coin that I am dumping. Plus whatever I can make off the dump, is then my profit.

I think communication is extremely important, if a team doesn't even maintain communications with its investors—that's a huge red flag.

Once there are no updates anymore coming from their telegram channels and you see the coins losing its value in the market and volume is going down, then it's time to give up, that coin or token and dump all of it because that is the warning sign that investors are waiting to dump.

Only coin worth hodling is BTC, evrything else is there for making money by dumping in the right moment.
This is not the case always, there are many coins that are pretty old and are even surviving today and also making good returns for the investors who are investing in those coins. Only a few coins are like these coins that can survive for more than 2 or three years, rest are there for pumping and dumping and are short lived just like these DeFi coins that are making people rich right now but it will not be the same always as DeFi is just a trend right now and in a month or two it will be over and then a new trend would start and take its place.

Let's first get  our self clear of a particular word 'dump' that we used to misuse.  Anyone can decide to sell at any time with or without any reason, you're selling your coin not dump, at least you got some amount on it.
Away from that, there are many reasons I sell my coin; it could be urgent financial need or I observe that the coin I'm holding do not have a reliable future among other reasons.

If i get it from bounty i will dump half of my reward when its worth with all my work, and change it to ETH or BTC. i prefer to keep them in two both coins mentioned. and half from my bounty reward ill keep it and sell it if they pump on the market as my bonus. ill consider to hold if they have good plan such as staking program, big exchange listing plan or when i know there are whale inside.

most people throw away their coins because the price of these coins continues to fall and the price doesn't go up anymore. besides that there are also people who throw away their coins because they really need additional money. at this time I am worried about the bounty program that has just been running because of most of the fraud, we have to be careful and be more careful in choosing a bounty program so as not to get coins that have no price.

Found out the project is dying and the team is super inactive, so I dumped the coins I got from the bounty. Around 3 months later, their official website was not working. lol
I don't need to wait too much from bounty, I'll sell immediately after I receive them. In 2017-2018 I held most of the tokens I got from bounty, but in the end the price crashed hundreds of times and those tokens became worthless. That is my biggest mistake in this market

It was your mistake as the price crashed crazily, but it would be your regret if the price jumped up signficantly but you have sold it for cheap price. There is always two chances when you hold a certain crypto for long time, up and down. Wise thing to do is to break it down into at least two baskets. First basket to be sold and the second basket to hold, as long as you are not losing something then holding some of what you get is better than sell it all once you get it.

When I need money and see there is no good sight on the development on that token. But in begining join bounty mostly did not expect that the price could go up quite high this happened in 2016-2017 so I sell immediately after received the rewards, the rest is the coin bounty price is very cheap.

Could you tell us what bounty coin you holding now ? Projects in the past are not good indeed, better to sell them away.
But lets see DeFi projects nowadays, maybe it will be good to hold their coin.
Usually, low volume is the reason why i sell the coin because im afraid i won't be able to sell it anymore.

I dump my coin after got it from a bounty because to me, it is better to take the initiative and planing to buyback. Since most of the time, a coin will have a dump because of bounty hunters so I just want to anticipant this behavior.
This perception is totally wrong. Not all altcoins or tokens that are paid to bouty hunters get dumped. There are situations where bounty hunters that sold their coins so early later regretted doing that.
This is an indication that the project is very strong and that the team has done real good job in upholding the standard or their project.
That's correct, there are some tokens sold by bounty Hunter's that's still causing them sleepless night. Atomic wallet token was given to me and before I could say Anything I  sold them for peanut and later saw what happened and still happening with Atomic Wallet token. I regretted my  actions and won't hesitate to always monitor projects before thinking of dumping their tokens or not. Trusted projects tokens should be kept even though their values stay lower than expectation.

I'm holders too but I think not dumping coin, because the price already dumped sharply, I better call it, makes a change. Yes makes a change, because if I keep the coin in the wallet, I'm not sure the price coin will increase because no progress of the project, so better sell it and makes a change to another coin which can bring good profits in the future

indeed it is better to sell the token proceeds from the bounty, I think it doesn't matter, do everyone blame the bounty hunter for the dump? it shouldn't have happened!

I plan to hold few percentage of tokens and coins I earned from bounty projects and sell majority of them, quality matters but still the future can be so unpredictable, sell many and hold few, for example if you earn 20,000 tokens sell 15,000 tokens and keep the rest just in case
I think this is the best plan for selling and partially holding
Previously I always sold all of my digital assets and sometimes I feel sorry that I sold them because not how many times I sold tokens / coins, the price of these assets suddenly pumped
This is based on my experience as a bounty hunter
