I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

I don't dump coins actually, if I invest, I will just let it rot if in case the coin will not progress, I'm not worried as I have a lot of coins in my wallet.
My principle is very simple, if others will fail and the rest will succeed, as long as I'm in profit in overall, I would already be satisfied with that.

usually I throw away to buy it back cheap, because other bounty participants will also throw it cheaper than me, so I take the opportunity to buy it cheaper, if the market is really good, I will start first, but if only my DEX exchange is not will buy it again because it will be difficult to progress and develop, but if the coin has the potential to enter into a large exchange, it's best to keep it in the bag.
I selling my coin because I need money, I mean you don't usually go bounty hunting without getting the rewards and sell after getting it on exchange unless it does have any value or you see the potential and opt to hodl it a bit longer to gain a little more profit from it.

I only sell my coins if I see that the price has pumped very much or if I have the opportunity to make more money on other tools. there is no reason in just holding coins that are not profitable

many coins that I have sold from the bounty, and many coins that also have no price because the coins I hold are scam,
of course if the price is good why not sell them ?, I also need money for that

they are a lot of reason to drop coin, but the basis start from reason the reason why you participate bounties, because
1. some participate in bounty to earn and spend while
2. some participate in bounty to invest since they don't have that money to invest in cryptocurrency while
3. some do both.

But to me reason sometimes depends on my state of needs so i fall in the third category.

I once one like you dumping coins I received without thinking of potentials because I need money for my basic needs, only to find out later that that the value increased ten times in just a short period time, this is a hard pill to swallow but have to accept it and move on.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?
Im selling my rewards to take profit but there are instances wherein I keep holding because I see a good potential to the project that I promoted.

I have tokens that came from bounty 2 years ago but I still hold the tokens. The project still has progress but im waiting for a good price to sell and that is when the alt season occur.
2 years is a really long time for altcoins. Most projects from 2018 are dead and have no value, so don't try to hold it. I never hold altcoins for too long, will try to sell immediately if they are listed on exchanges

I used to be a holder of coins but i got the bad feeling about holding a coin that devalued from four thousand dollar to five dollar. I saw the need to sell off projects whose tokens i have. As the saying goes "crypto currecy is a bubble". i do not wish to be on that side of the bubble again, therefore, I sell off what I have and run away, I can come back if it dips briefly but after payment i sell off.

I will sell when the market shows signs of downtrend and the coin always shows signs of going down because the project is not capable of keeping its value, altcoins are risky it can split a lot, so sell when Maybe, but I always hold back in part because of the belief they will come back

would you please mention the name of those coins that you dumped?
First of all I see their development & progress. If they working on their plan, I hold their coins. If they always makes lame excuse, soon or something I just sell those coins, doesn't matter about the price. Because If i keep holding those coins price will be zero in future. So better to convert those coin in btc & hold the btc.

Re: I'm dumping my coins because i am about to take profit.
For me, this is the best way and the only valid reasons for an investor to dump their token or coin, to take profits. Except you have an emergency need for funds, it is best to hodl your investment until you are in profit. Just recently i sold my pixby tokens that were initially worthless for a huge amount IN $, It doesn;t matter how long, remember this is crypto currency.

Like you I rarely dump my coins, the ones I bought and the ones I earned trough bounties. I sold just few of them, and I didn't
earn much because I sold them after long period of waiting, when price dropped already. It's the moment when you realize you
will either take that little amount or you will end up with worthless coin or token.

Even if the value is down and the team are working hard to develop project there is no need for me to sell, the only reason why I will consider selling is when there is nothing going on with the team and project, no active development or updates, no trading volume (not a strong reason though) and especially when the price is high and I want to flip for more.

And in most cases, some teams will show that there's progress here and there but in reality there's nothing. When I joined some bounty programs before, I sold the tokens I got as soon as they got listed in the exchange. Because if I had waited for so long, their price now is really low as compared to when I sold it. So that's a good call for me back then. Very few projects can actually survive for long and increase their value. So if your guts is saying to sell it, don't think twice. Sell it and never look back.

I have participated many bounty projects that the reward is token and I see they mostly have the very low price and sometime they are garbage. So, selling them and invest on more potential coins is best wise decision.

Why do you all say dump coins ? When I sell my coins, it usually does not affect the price, I just sold my tokens and no one noticed it, the reasons are different, I decided to buy other tokens or just withdraw money and take a break.

The reason is to satisfied yourself with your holdings, if you got the tokens from bounties, once there's no reason of holding it or you already satisfied with the value it's better to sell it up and enjoy your money.

Money that you'll going to get from the tokens is the reason why I'm selling my tokens.

i like your attitude op . its not common to see a user like you that sold for a good cause while most of them only sold because the price of thier coin is high or they sold because the coin is not growing but they dont mention that they are going to use that profit for more worth it coin like you  .  i almost forgot that you still hold your coins and your story is only your past attitude but you dont need to say that , your still welcome to sold your coins and repeat the same manerism

I only dumped if I saw that the projects were scams, they continuously delayed project development and did not fulfill their promises. So the prices will keep dropping and I won't waste time on those projects
