It sounds very depressed and full of regrets and defeats by own impatient. Well, there is no such perfect thing in this wolrd. Everyone come up with mistakes and regrets in decision and the chances that passed. We couldn't blame ourselves coz that is us. We are more eagerly learned from the mistakes in the past. In the future of trading every learnings can be applicable to apply in the present of making a deal in crypto. You're right, market will stay and coins could not. Get the flag, and move on with much broad understanding towards dealings.

I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.

Dont be disappointed for all of your wrong doing trading crypto. Remember that failure is part of growing up. If we didn't learn from our mistakes then the same mistakes happen all over again.

Do not grieve on the past instead continue to grow and prepare for the future. There are no successful trader, person, business etc.. that did not experience failures on their journey to success. Move on and learn your lessons. You are not alone.

Hopefully the lesson you learnt here is to not try to be the Gordon Gecko or Wolf of Wall Street in crypto. Be the Warren Buffet and invest then forget.

You say that you invested in ETC because of its long term potential, and yet you sold shortly after. How does that work? No need to state it since you already agree and realize this. Don't feel too bad about it, just in future stick to the general principles that you already know without letting pointless emotions get in the way. You must suppress the fight or flight/adrenal response whenever it occurs. During either real life confrontation, or when trading crypto, do not ever succumb to it, it's an outdated bodily function that is no longer useful.

When you believe in a coin and invest in it, forget about it. Come back a couple years later and see how it did. You already know this now anyway.

I think that all of us have done some "stupid" stuff like this. My personall example is that i bought eth when it was 8 $ and sold at 17$ all of it. Then i bought ETC and sold it. Had some litecoin too, NEO and sold it with 14$ and much more.
But i dont regret it that much because over all i made profit from those coin, this being a non-holder stratedy. Now i changed this strategy and i want to increase my portofolio and become a holder.
I avoid thinking at the money i could`ve made from holding all my coins because this would make me sick. Instead i focus on the future and the gains that this crypto world can bring me.
Your story is a good example for me as a beginner. I also heared from a friend who is also so disappointed for not holding his coins too. After the time he traded, the coin's value suddenly increased so high. He was so deppressed but still he managed to moved on and learned from it.
Learning experiences shared by investors like you is for me a good way .

That is very common, you lack experience. People should be patient and gain experience as they go along with trade! I am sure even you bought at 15$, you would have sold at 30$, now the price is much higher and you would still regret and be unhappy with yourself!! People should learn not to be greedy and set their target, work out their strategy and follow it, no matter what happens. I mean making stop losses and take profit, if you don't need your pocket money and you are sure about what you buy, then be patient and wait. We all (traders) went and are going through this, I am telling are, because even experienced trader does the same mistake, as he is too greedy. Find yourself a hobby and invest to forget about it, don't just look up every day, the price wan't change of that! Good Luck to you

it will be fine. imagine how frustrating it is to own a 10,000 btc to buy a 2 large pizza  then after a few years it is worth a fortune.
just learn how the market works and read some announcement and you will be fine.

That's what cryptocurrency is. The market situation is always volatile, so do not be afraid that bitcoin prices will go down too much. It is likely to rise higher this year. The important thing is make this as a lesson so that we do not repeat the same mistake.

You have lost faith in yourself. You have been greedy for shaky will or simply because you are too afraid of investing, which is a taboo for investors. So, you should take a break for some time to regain the spirit. After that, I think you should practice your resilience, not shake and boldness in investing. It will make you more successful

Don't blame your self from your mistake you can learn a lot of things on it. No body is perfect,  For me that is a good experience

That's right all of us always do mistakes but it's up to us also those mistakes will be a lesson to us that we will take it as a good experience or bad experience. That's where learning when we've done those mistakes then next time if we will do the same thing we know what will do so we can make it right.

you just lack patience. should you know when price of ETC going to up, you hold first because the potential for higher rise again is very big. you just do panic sell when the price starts to recover. this is an important lesson, never panic sell.

Everyone feels great doubt before investing for the first time, and if nothing good has happened, then this uncertainty persists in the future. I think you need a mentor

Don't worry my friend just learn, learn and learn
If you just stay with learning then he will lose his investment money. He should work on something then make it work, you get paid in the end.

How will he lose his investment if they are just learning?
I think all understand that learning is more important than action without knowledge. Dont be hury to gain because we will be lose if we are hury and deny knowledge is important.

Haha that's a part of the life of an investors especially the newbie investors. The only main problem for us when it comes to investing is only ourselves, we tend to panic when we saw our investments decreased from its usual value. Sometimes I think that those people who invest here (some of the newbies rather)  doesn't really know how the system works, they just buy hoping for a certain to increased without doing some research.

As far as I am concerned every initiation of any business has multiple ups and downs in their performance graph. As such, I don’t think that you are the only one with disappointments. Almost every trader has experienced the same set of emotions. Similarly, altcoins had a slow but a very steady start and their value at that time were high in our eyes. The 15 dollars of Ethereum was a real breakthrough in those days. No one had expected that its price will skyrocket, considering the general trend of those days.

Doing a bad trade can give you a harsh lesson. However, all the good learning that we can take out of the failure also stands as positives inspiration for the future. Some coins are worth keeping for the future, while others are meant for day to day trades that are dependent on the current market strategy. I have personally made the same mistake as that of yours. I learnt from my mistakes and hope to deal with the right choice of the right coin for better opportunity in the future.

The best advice I can give you is that you should invest in coins that you really believe in. If you think you might panic sell and you can't control yourself, just delete blockfolio and stop looking at the prices for some time.

If you researched everything about a coin and you know that it will have a great future, you don't have anything to worry about.
