However, I doubt many investors use social media. Also, all these updates are available in all the coin tracking websites. I think most people just keep tracking information from such sites.

Yep, if it's a good project then I believe they will have a lot of posts per week. And such articles will be very quality and often talk about their project or related partners. If a project hasn't been updated on twitter or telegram for a long time, it might be dead.

Token and smartcontract must have done easily and i think it should always be opened to make sure the whole investors or hunters can get the new tokens. It's a shady thing for the developer to close it when there are some people still not aware about that.

You are completely right. Also, I will say in summary that the importance of social media channels is to update the community on what is happening in the platform. Most projects tends to overlook their social media presence thus losing a good number of their users who might have the notion that nothing is happening within the platform and most times it tends to be true. Therefore it is important to update the community as frequent as possible so that they will make better decisions while having in mind upcoming events such as swapping etc.

Well the team should not forge to update their social media channel for this is what makes the investors learn more of the their updates. If they don't keep their community interested, they will just walk away thinking the team is not updating anything which they along with bounty hunters will just think the project is another scam.

Actually you are right that some information may gap in bounty hunter promotion time of a project but as a real investor must study about a project before investment. Bounty hunter must pass web address at the promotion time of a project. So every fault is not to hunters, there are some responsibilities to investors as well as.

You are very right, social media channels are a huge source of information, not only for bounty hunters, but the crypto currency enthusiasts at large.
But it also requires the due dilligence of respective hunters or traders to keep in touch with those social media handles to stand a chance to have first hand information.
I often see bounty hunter whom get mad to admin because of he dont know about important information that you mention op. I think it is his fault because he is not following news from the project that he participated. At least take your time like 5 minutes to read telegram group or official social media.

This happened to me once and that was when I was still a newbie, I lose some money because I failed to stay updated on the coin social media channel, since then it never happens again, you don't need to warn people, once they realize their own mistakes they will adjust
That's true, social media channels are very vital and must be check often to be updated on all that is taking place within the platform. Nevertheless, there are still projects whose social media channels are nothing to write home about, that is, lack of communication or update while in telegram are mainly spammers and bots, now when these gets too much the social media channels tends to lose its purpose thus making some users to stay at bay which then leads to missing vital information. Therefore I think the team should keep capable hands who will always keep the telegram group clean and other social media channels updated with latest news, updates etc.
